Dance Studio Jacket III
Great Jacket and Worth The Price
I'm a frugal shopper and really did not want to spend over 100 on a hoodie, but after trying and returning black hoodies from 3 other stores, this one is the winner. The fit is fantastic, it's so cozy, and the sleeves are actually long enough for my crazy long arms. I'm 5'9" and 135 lbs and usually a 6 or 8 at Lululemon. I got this in an 8. I tried on the 8 and 10 in store and the 10 was too big in the chest. They didn't have a 6, but the 8 is probably as snug as I'd want to go in the waist. I think the plum and blue colors are so pretty, but for the price I felt like I should get a basic color that would be worn all the time, so I got the black. It was the right choice. It matches all my workout pants and pretty much works with everything. Oh, and the pockets are deep and the hood is functional and actually fits tightly to your head which is super convenient if it's raining or you're out running.

Must have piece
Got this in bumble berry- the color so fantastic that I couldn't resist. Plus, in my opinion, color looks particularly striking on this kind of fabric. I doubt I will ever wear it as a reversible and I feel it is kinda silly to reverse to basically identical color, but it is so soft inside! The fit is flattering, but size up one size. Love, love, love this jacket. They never go to sale, even in boring colors- thus hurry up and grab one before they are gone or before the latest trend- sneaky price increase by lulu.....
Quality, shape, comfort- wise- it is one of the best lulu pieces ever.

Had my eyes on this for a longggg time...
I caved and finally tried this on in the store....after eyeing it online for years....
First tried it in the purple fog (which was surprisingly flattering and an amazing colour) ended up leaving the store without it (mostly due to $$), and the 2nd time I came back to try it on they had the blue available in the store!!! I bought it anyhow this time, but still have the tags on it, and haven't worn it yet...
I tried my usual 6 in lulu tops and then the 8, as it is very form fitting...but the 8 wasn't as good on me due to my smaller bust-line in comparison to my larger hip-line. The 8 just looked bunchy in the bust/underarm area on me, so I bought the 6. In the cooler months, a long sleeve shirt under it may be challenging.
Gorgeous feminine workout jacket and its funny how it got warmer out after I bought it, so haven't been able to wear it just yet.

Love this jacket!
I followed other reviewers' suggestions to size up and did so, from my usual 4 to a 6. I'm 5'2, 114 lb, 32D and this jacket fits me AMAZINGLY. Lovely soft feel and extremely slimming and flattering. I love the inkwell color. The arms are just long enough and loose enough to accommodate layering underneath. Though this jacket is light, it is really warm. Bonus - really deep pockets for holding your keys and cards. I couldn't ask for any more in a jacket!

Go to jacket for casual Friday and for travel
I love this jacket - I own three colors: plum, bleached coral, and bali breeze.
What I love:
- fit. The snug fit and change of fabric at the waistline is very flattering
- feel. The fabric and fit are like a hug.
- pockets. The deep pockets will hold my iphone even with a bulky case and have room for more. The stretchiness of the pockets and elasticity at the entry of the pockets mean I can put something in them when I am traveling and not worry it will fall (or be pickpocketed) out.
- reversibility. I love that I can take this off and let it reverse and put it on again "inside out". Over and over again. Although when I travel, I often choose to wear it pocket side in, so that I have even more protection for my wallet and phone.
- washability - this holds up great in the wash. I worried about having the lighter bleached coral, but it washes great.
I could do without the hood, because I live and work in areas where it either rains hard (Florida, Georgia) and you stay inside when it does, or it rarely rains (So Cal). So I wish it came without a hood, but the hood doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The material is so soft, the hood is nice and flat and doesn't mess up hair.
Sizing info: I'm 34B in VS bras, 129#, 5'5". I normally wear an XS in Ann Taylor tops and a 2 or 4 in H&M. I wear a 6 in CRB and a 4 in most other LLL shirts and jackets. I have two 6s and a 4 in this and they fit almost the same. I'd suggest sizing up to have that little bit extra room.

Dance studio jacket III
Just received my jacket in the mail today and it is AHHHHH-MAZING! Vey soft , with a lux feel. I read a lot of reviews before ordering this jacket, and decided to size up, just to be safe. I'm between a 6-8 in Lulu tops, so I ordered a 10. I play tennis and wanted to have room in the bust. Glad I did, it's perfect. A 8 would have fit, but would have been snug in the bust. I love the slim fit and it is VERY flattering. If you have the chance..... Get this jacket! I know I will be ordering another!

its ok, sizing is weird
I'm a TTS 6 for all lulu, and I bought an 8 and it just didn't fit right. It was tight in the waist (27) and baggy up top (34C), the arms were long.
Its great its reversible, but the other side doesn't have pockets. The jacket is very warm for what it is, the normal side out gets so hot and doesn't breathe well. So it doesn't work for me as a lightweight jacket, but its so fitting you can't layer. Therefore its not practical.
The sizing is also not consistent, I bought the blue and plum and the plum was different when I lined it up underarm to underarm with the blue. Too bad. It also snags easily.

Average. Meh. Sizing is tricky.
I returned this. After humming & hawing over whether to size up or TTS, I stuck TTS (all my hoodies, jackets, etc I do a size 10...I'm 5'8" 130lbs). I returned the 10, and will not bother re-ordering the 12 (I wanted black which is currently not available in my store).
It was heavier than I expected. I was hoping it was more lightweight.
I have more of an hourglass shape, and this jacket kept sliding up my hips and settling on my waist. Such a pain! I only wore it around the house, and I was constantly pulling it down - it would slide up and bunch around my stomach just under my bust. I am NOT paying $128 for something that is so annoying.
I will admit I did get really excited about how awesome this jacket looked reversed (inside out). BUT what then crushed me? No pockets on the inside, so if you do it reverse you have no pockets. What the heck, LLL?! Even ONE sleek pocket would have been nice, because I do understand bulk was probably a consideration. But LLL is known for lot's of creative storage, so when there was NOTHING I was like "this is the final straw that is making me return this". Sigh.

I am 5'8" 128 lbs typically size 6 in LLL. With this jacket I went UP one size to 8 for comfort factor. It still is very slimming and flattering. Full disclosure: it is too hot in Chicago to be wearing this right now (August), so I do not have a complete review. But I do not foresee any problems with it. I am sure LLL will address quality issues should it come up. I purchased the INKWELL (very dark blue) and it is gorgeous on. I have plenty of black jackets, so this is an excellent alternative. The color is so dark that it works with black pants and it gives off a nice mysterious glow in certain lighting situations that you notice it is not an ordinary black jacket. If you want more contrast, you can reverse the jacket. Just nothing but love for this.
