Bright Bomber Jacket *Reflective
I was worried this jacket wouldn't do well in below 20 degree weather with "freezing drizzle"--but I stayed warm during my run and didn't get hit by a single car...seriously, the jacket is really cute, versatile, and effective.
Worth your money if you'd like to run in the cold.

Great Jacket for Nighttime running
This jacket is really great if you run at night a lot. In the past I have avoided wearing any type of reflective clothing etc. because it is all uncomfortable or stupid looking. I run 10+ miles every night after work in the dark and have had multiple run ins with cars that cannot see me. Since I have had this jacket I have had no problems and i have had several people actually stop me and say how amazingly reflective it was...one woman told me that she could see me from a quarter mile away. With that said this is only really appropriate in colder weather (50 degrees and below), as it gets a little to hot otherwise. I am relatively tall (5'10) and have a very long torso and the jacket is about the perfect length. I am on the smaller side, so the size 4 is about perfect for me, if you have a larger chest you would probably want to size up. Yes its pricey, but a similar Nike jacket is $300+, so really not that bad.

I cannot say enough great things about this jacket. the fit is nice - not too tight, not too loose. Super reflective so great for night runs. I did a long run in this the other night and it kept me warm and the venting under the arms was nice when i got warmed up.
I agree with other review re: the pockets being open but, there are other zippered options (one at your chest) that fit everything i needed and then-some... also pricey but, that's lulu.

About me: 5' 8", Size 10 in most tops, Size 12 in jackets, not curvy (bigger up top than hips\bottom)
I would have loved to try this jacket in a size 12, however it fit fairly well in a size 10, due to the stretchy material. I'm not sure if someone with bigger hips could size down or not- I'm pretty straight up and down.
Love the reflective quality of this jacket, which is why I purchased it.
The front pockets aren't zipped, however there is a small pocket that does stretch to hold an ipod securely. I was actually able to stretch it to fit my iphone 5S perfectly! I would have loved for the pockets to be zipped but at least I can secure my phone.
Front zipper pocket, perfect for cards\cash at chest level.
My jacket did *not* have cuffins. I would have appreciated cuffins as my hands get cold easily and there are no zipper pockets for gloves. The thumb holes were nice to keep the jacket from sliding up.
I didn't have any issues with arm length in the size 10. It does look like more of a cropped jacket on me due to my long waist but it's "ok". I'd say it's more of a boxy fit, and isn't horrible but not super flattering on someone my height.
I feel like overall the jacket is great quality for the price (I did choke a bit paying that much, but I really wanted something this reflective for walks\runs).
Again, would have loved to see this in a size 12 and\or a longer length option. I am pretty sure that this jacket would be absolutely perfect for someone shorter. For me it serves the purpose I was hoping it would- I just will make sure to pair it with a longer shirt.

Great quality and function
As mentioned by other reviewers, the quality of this jacket makes it a stand-out. It is well-suited for cold weather running or wearing to and from the gym in the winter. I agree it may be a bit warm for for spring running due to the lining and the weight.
The reflective feature is outstanding and a nice change from the bright green I typically wear for early or late runs. It's a great looking jacket. The collar works well for me with short hair and I find the jacket fits and looks best zipped all the way as pictured.
I usually size up on anything noted as "slim" fit due to having muscular arms and shoulders. This jacket is a little more boxy rather than slim but I plan to keep the larger size for layering and ability to look good fully zipped.
The front pockets are roomy but the only feature change I would prefer is for them to zip, so a phone or keys could be secured.
Overall this jacket has a thoughtful design for walking or running in dark conditions and is a demonstration of very high quality.

Bright bomber jacket ... pockets???
Eagerly anticipated delivery of this jacket. Very disappointed when it arrived. The jacket is well made and fits TTS. The deal breaker for me was a lack of zipped pockets. Who makes a jacket specifically for running but does not add zippers to the side pockets. There is a small zippered pocket on top but for $250 it needs to be perfect. I returned.

Pleased with the jacket
I just took this jacket out for a 10 mile run. It was extremely windy, some icy snow/rain, mid to low 20s. the jacket performed great. I stayed dry. I was concerned about overheating, but the perforations worked well and I didn't have to unzip the sides.
I like the collar. I have short hair and it helps fill in the space at the back of my neck, plus it is soft and comfortable.
The front pocket is deceptively large. I fit my iphone, a large set of keys, and a couple cards. Still had plenty of room and it didn't bother me at all. No bouncing. Really well thought out.
I sized up because I want to be able to layer several layers under it, if necessary, and I think it still looks cute sized up (I also have a relatively large chest). I like the elastic at the bottom b/c it held my shirt in place and my shirt didn't hike up like it sometimes does on runs. However, I can see why someone might like a straight jacket without elastic.
The jacket is also super cute.
One thing - the hand cuffins are pure black. They look to be tweedy or something in the photos.
I didn't give this 5 stars because I wish it wasn't lined with rulu or whatever it is lining it. I'd like something lighter weight b/c I think that's more versatile for running. That said, I'm hoping with the venting that the jacket will work into the high 30s with a tank underneath.

Nice jacket, just not for me
I've been waiting for Lulu to release a 360* reflective jacket since last year's Run: Reflective Jacket, which only went up to a 10 (I'm generally a 12) and I heard was not very breatheable. The Bright Bomber only went up to a 10, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
First, I can see some great improvements from last year. I love the reflective fabric, but it isn't as breatheable as luxtreme or even softshell. Adding luxtreme and softshell to the Bomber makes it more functional. I also like that the Bomber has zippered sides for cooling. Last year's jacket only had perforations, which don't work quite as well.
However, the Bomber is SO short on me. Granted, I am usually a 12 in Lulu, but can fit into a 10 on top in a pinch. I also have hips that do not mess around. Last years jacket fit pretty well, but was tighter in the hips than I would prefer (again, they only made it up to a 10, but it stretched). The Bomber did zip, and I have to say one of the pros of the reflective material is that it's stretchy. But it's so short that in a little jog around the house it rode up to my waist. That would drive me nuts on a run. No go. And of course, the Bomber is in no way bum-covering, which was a pro with last year's jacket. The arms on the Bomber were do-able, and I love the softshell/luxtreme, but a 12 with a tad more room would have been more comfortable for me.
I also prefer the military style of last year's jacket. I know it wasn't for everyone, just like the bomber style isn't for me. There's something about the collar of the Bomber that looks goofy on me.
The fabric of the Bomber was excellent, and the workmanship was high. It's also lined, which is a plus. I thought this jacket was well priced for the quality.
If lulu used the iLUminate material on an attractive vest...that would be awesome. Or make these jackets in a 12 so the fit wouldn't be such an issue for those of us with hips.
I gave this jacket three stars for the fabric (lovely, stretchy, soft), functionality (reflective), and workmanship. I subtracted one star for style (I just don't think it's attractive) and one for fit (make a 12!).

Love this jacket!
Love the look and quality of this jacket. Very comfortable on, was slightly boxy in my tts, but not bad. I ended up sizing down and liked the fit better. I am not a runner, but plan on using this for walking, as a windbreaker and for very casual evenings. This jacket appears to be more breathable than the run reflect jacket (also own that one, just couldn't resist) because of the different fabric on the sleeves.

I am a size 6 in most lulu jackets due to bust size, but I'm also very petite, I thought I might need a 4 in this since it's "bomber" style and not nipped in at the waist, but the 6 is still the best fit for me. This jacket is awesome for running in low light and looks "bad #$%" on!!!!! I couldn't wait to go for a run when I got it.
