Merry Christmas to ME
This was my first scuba purchase. I received it in the mail just an hour ago, and couldn't wait to open it! I bought this as a reward to myself for all the hard work I've been doing at CrossFit. I absolutely LOVE it!
The first thing I noticed was the weight, its heavy and so warm. Beautiful, vibrant colors (I got the pink, black & white striped one), such soft material, and perfect length. I checked it over for loose strings, only found 2 tiny ones & snipped those.
I'm 5'6", athletic, and ordered a size 12. It fits tts. The arm length is a little long for me (not that I mind). When I put it on, the cuffs went well past my fingertips. If I don't wear the thumb holes, I will have to roll the cuffs back over my wrist or move the sweater up my arms a bit. Plenty of room in the chest area and the hood is wonderful. I love the embroidered om symbol in pink.
Overall, I love it. Love it. Love it.

I am addicted!!
Bought my third scuba since Sept in parallel stripe black/white/black/brisk bloom black white/white/white. Really really love the beautiful pattern of the lined hood and LOVE LOVE LOVE the PINK logo!!! Fell in love with this pattern the moment I put it on, very happy with my purchase so far!
The only reason that I took a star off is that the fit of the scubas are NOT consistent - now I have scubas in size 2, 4 and 6 (5'5", 32C/34B, 25/26)! Yes, I am in between Lulu sizes, it's still a bit of annoying because our local store doesn't always carry the pattern I like. For this particular print, I bought a 6 so I can easily throw on a thick sweater and a scarf on top (it's cold outside!), and the 4 is tight on my chest even when I only have the pique Forme underneath. I strongly suggest to try it on before your purchase, even if you have 10 other scubas...

Good fit, but worth the money?
Firstly, kudo's to lulu for an amazing fit. I very, very, rarely come across a jacket that fits me so well - no exessive bagging under the arms or around the torso/waist, curve hugging, slim sleeves, but also loose enough so I can move comfortably (I'm a size 2, 5'5/165cm, 110lbs/50kg). It could definitely be a bit looser in the chest, but when wearing a sports bra it's no problem at all. I love the thumbholes, as they keep the cold air out of my arms and my palms warm. The hood is thick, warm, and makes for a good pillow if I feel like taking a nap on the desk when studying. I actually like that they took out the ribbed side panels from the original scuba because the regular material is thicker than the ribbed and insulates more heat - I'd like to reiterate that for me the jacket is still loose enough for free movement and is not boxy or stiff at all.
My one complaint, as my jacket is black, is that dust and small particles stick to it incredibly easily. The one time I fell asleep in it I woke up lightly coated in the down that sheds from my comforter and had to lint-roller for ten minutes before it started looking uniformly black again. Also, the metal zippers from the original scuba were also quite a nice touch and seem more quality than the plastic ones now.
In conclusion, however great the hoodie may be, it's still just a hoodie and as a poor student I find it hard to justify two weeks worth of food money on one. I wanted a new scuba hoodie as I've loved my old one very much and saw the new design, and I do love this one just as much if not more, but my final verdict is that for 116$(w/tax) one is enough for me (definitely good to have, but just not perfect enough). I will invest more in those lovely speed shorts and yeah yoga tank tops.

I have been a lulu lemon buyer for a very long time now. Although i have noticed changes, i still love this type of sweater.
However, my last sweater was a size 8, and it did strech alot as i wore it and began to be alittle bit big on me. So i am now in between a size 6 and a size 8 and i want to order one online and i dont know which size to get! The 6 will be snug and the 8 will be roomy... which one is better?
Will the 6 strech alittle to give me more spce? or will the 8 fit me properly? Do these sweters still strech as much as they used to?
I havent bought one in about a year so im not sure if they do still strech as much as they used to. Someone help me!

I own a lot of lulu scuba hoodies. Like 20ish. I used to always buy them in a size 10 as I am extremely heavy chested and needed the extra room. Then I had to up size to a 12 when they changed the fit once again. Now my hubby surprised me with a new one and I can't even zip the darn thing up! What are you thinking LULU??? It's called a stretch scuba but you take out the stretch panels?? Ya cause that makes perfect sense! Everytime you make something good you go and change it!

Love Lulu but all my zippers are coming off!!!
I love my Lulu's, I think I have 12 of them now but the zipperheads on them keep breaking!! Its very upsetting considering how much I paid for them. Some of them are older but 1 of my newer ones have now done it!! Love the fit (size 10), colors, and patterns but if anymore break I will not be spending the money on them anymore.

It Happened Twice
I bought one hoodie and washed it but never dried it. I took it out of the washer and the zipper had broken off. I thought, I've had it for a few years, maybe it was just defective. I bought yet another sweater and the same thing happened!! Zipper completely broken, not fixable unless I replace the entire zipper. I had a lot of faith in Lululemon until this happened. Not happy, won't recommend this product.

Things that make me go "hhhhmmmmmmmm"
I got my 1st Scuba 5 yrs. ago for my 40th b-day in a size 8. It is looking a little ragged now after lots of wear. Last December I got 2 Scubas for Xmas, both size 6 (b/c there wasn't much of a difference b/w the 6 & 8 & I like my stuff to "fit"). Love them but I do find the arms a bit on the tight side (they are both the Scuba Stretch hoodie). This past summer I ordered a new Scuba in black in a size 8 & I couldn't even zip it up :( Very strange since my other 3 fit fine ... I returned it & haven't bought another one for fear the same thing will happen. The nearest Lulu store is 3.5 hrs. away from where I live. What's w/the inconsistent sizing??

Sizing up resulted in poor fit.
I sized up from my usual 4 to a 6 when ordering online. Perhaps this is why I am unsatisfied with the fit. I would disagree with all previous reviewers that say it fits small. My measurements are 33-25-35 and the 6 fit ok but was quite large in the body and had plenty of room in the bust and arms. The quality seems pretty decent in my opinion. The fleece is nice and thick and soft. I just didn't like the fit... it was not body conscious... it just seemed loose and somewhat bulky.
Lulu should bring back the fit from 2007ish when this hoodie was roomy in the shoulders/arms/bust but fitted in the waist... making your figure look feminine while still being super comfortable and cozy. Lets face it... nobody wants to feel like their chest/shoulders are being suffocated! Unfortunately, I will be returning my hoodie because the fit is all wrong. Perhaps I just shouldn't have sized up?
