Scuba Hoodie *Bow
Nice, pretty twist on a classic!
This was my first Scuba Hoodie and I bought it a couple weeks ago. The previous cuts didn't fit me well (I could barely zip up the size 4 and the size 6 was really baggy in the armpits). I wear a 6 in nearly all my other kinds of Lulu jackets but they only had a size 4 left in this at the store I was at and it was on sale and it actually looked pretty cute on me, now that I have lost some weight. So I decided to buy it. Its a bit shorter than I prefer but I love the pattern and the bows. I can totally rock it with some black skinny jeans and my light neon pink scarf while its still cold out!

Nice pattern and velvet details
but the sleeves are way too long. I put this hoodie over the Scuba Hoodie I bought in 2011 and the sleeves are 2" longer. Too bad.

Love the pattern, fleece lining & velvet details
This is my first scuba hoodie although I've been a lulu buyer for years. I picked this up on a whim during their flash sale and it's definitely worth the sales price. This hoodie has a very soft and thick cotton shell with a thin fleece lining. The thumbholes, long sleeves and lined hood are great for keeping cozy. The pockets are tiny, I can only fit my hands all the way in if I make fists but the pockets are lined with a cozy, thin fleece. The pattern is subtle but beautiful and, along with the velvet trim on the hood/pockets/front, adds a luxe feminine feel to the hoodie. I sized up because I like my hoodies a little looser. I would suggest trying a hoodie on in-store if possible so you can decide on sizing. The only concern I have is that the fabric seems like it might attract a lot of lint.

Cozy, pretty, perfect TTS
Just received this hoodie in the mail. Picked up this and the Ruffled Up Pullover (also black) in post holiday sales. Feeling lucky. Both fit TTS (size 8, I'm 5'10", 34B) and are gorgeous. Length is right on. Had I tried them on in the store, I might have even paid full price for both of them. Quality is excellent. Fabric is super cozy. And the design brings out the 'pretty', so to speak. Great variations on basic black.

Love it with the sale price
Received this hoodie today, so happy that I got it for $50 less than the regular price. Love the Beautiful Baroque pattern, though it does not show very clearly on the pictures. It's somewhat nicer than just plain black, but still close to a black hoodie, so very easy to dress/ match. I found it fits to smaller side, only because I am size 2 or 4 for Lulu tops, usually take sz 2 for scuba hoodies, but I have to get a sz 4for this one (with long sleeves that I have to fold up mostly), but size 2 of this won't let me breath normally, lol. Anyway, I am 107 lb, 5'1", and would definitely recommend it with its sale price. But regular price, maybe not, at least I wont buy.

Is this worth the extra $20?
This is a cute version of the Scuba Hoodie but is it really worth $128 before tax? Probably not. I think it was worth the $78 plus tax that I paid for it though in the flash sale just after Christmas.
I have to say there are some cute details that really can't be seen in the very dark promo pictures here on the Lulu website. You really can't see the pattern which is very cute, you definitely can't see the detailing on the princess seams on the back, they have velour ribbon on them too, you also can't see that the seam around the front of the hood also has ribbon covering it. The Lulu symbol on the hood is backed in Gros grain ribbon as well and the pockets are lined with a knit cotton fabric, this is the first Scuba I've ever had with lined pockets and I've had a few now.
In short it was worth the sale price and I would recommend it to a friend as long as it was at that sale price, not at the higher price.
I ordered my normal size 4 and it fits TTS.

Scuba Hoodie 'Bow'
LOVE. I have been on the path of healthy organic eating and i have lost 25 lbs. This was a treat to myself for doing so well and my first LuLu purchase. It arrived yesterday and is perfect. It is warm and snuggly and soft and feminine with the beautiful velvet trim and bows. I can't wait to wear it all weekend.

My first Scuba, wish I'd sized up
I got this SE Scuba on a whim. I like the design of the baroque print a lot. Not sure about all the SE hype and the huge pricetag, but I guess it's too late to return it :)
I like the fit, but it's snug. The pockets are tiny, and really are not big enough to "warm my hands" as the tag suggested. Love the fabric, though, and the bow design is cute. The fleece is nice and warm. I wore it on a cold, wet afternoon and it kept me pretty cozy. I'll size up if I ever get another Scuba.
I think the zipper is kind of flimsy, and I remember a day when Lu had better zipper pulls.
Overall, not bad.

I rated this 4 stars mainly because the extra 20 dollars for 2 little bows (one on the hood and one on a pocket) isn't justifiable in my opinion. The print is beautiful but I have the iris print and still only paid 98 for it.
Otherwise the fit and weight is great and definitely TTS, but it would have been nice if this "special Edition" would have been made a little longer since the bows are the only difference compared to my other scubas.
Trying to figure out what is handwritten in stitching on the tag inside the hoodie, it looks like it says "Liver 2013" or "Hiver 2013" neither of which makes any sense to me...would love an explanation though lol
