Love but Hate
Oh Lulu, I thought I had a fluke pair of pants and now I am having the same issue on all 3 of my groove pants!! The seam at the crotch in all 3 is coming undone. It seems to be the same area too. I am bringing one pair back but I've got a pair in the Flame and another in a waistband pattern that's a few seasons old and I don't want to give my colors up!
I see you guys are getting beat up on the pilling (which my older pair does have), but it looks like the seams are not as sturdy as they used to be either.
On a positive note the tall length is awesome and I love the way the cut of the groove pant hits.

Very dissapointed
I am 6ft tall and was delighted that these pants fit well and were long enough for me. I purchased them about two weeks ago in San Francisco and wore them the very next day. I am extremely upset to say that they started pilling the very first day of wear. I would say I walked about 2 miles in them and by the time I was finished they had already started to pilling around the waistband and crotch. They look noticeably different. I believe that I should be able to spend $100+ on a pair of pants without also having to purchase a device to remove the numerous fuzz balls which have formed. This has not been an issue with any other pants that I have purchased so I'm not really sure what is going on with the quality of this fabric. How long will these last before falling apart?

I Look Awesome!
These are my first lululemon pants so I can't compare them to the old Groove Pant style, but I think they're amazing! I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs and the size 4 long fits perfectly. My boyfriend sees me in yoga pants every day, but the first time I wore these he noticed immediately and was wowed by how good they made me look. I can tell they're high quality from the way they feel and how well they fit. I've washed them several times (cold water and air dry) and haven't noticed any pilling, and they've maintained their snug fit even though I don't put them in the dryer. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

Very Satisfied
I know that a lot of people have been disappointed with the new grooves but I really like them!
I got a pair of grooves in September and really liked them at first but as time went on the fabric really started to age. Tons of piling (even when washing as recommended) and then the final straw was last week when abrasions on the front panels of the legs got too much to handle (and this was without wearing any sort of boot with them). So after going into the store they replaced them no problem and I got the new ones!
The fabric seems to be really similar to the wunder unders I got in December which I've had no problems with. Yes it is more sheer than the old ones, but at least on me it is not sheer in a way that's any problem. I also really like the new band patterns! Very fun!
My one negative comment is that the new fit of the knees rests a little bit less comfortably than the old ones, bunching a bit more in the back. However, that being said, this is really not too big of a deal and something I suspect I will get used to quickly.
Overall great pants and still one of the best out there! I do think they are a bit overpriced and I would not be able to spend my own money on them (I received these as a gift) but lulu's customer service and product are really great!

Very Disappointed!
Really Sad! Went to my local Lululemon store to see what the "new" groove pants were all about. Wow, I am so disappointed. My favorite Groove pants are now see through, the material is super thin, they are tighter, the stretchy material reminds me of the PINK line from Victoria Secret... I can't believe they would change such amazing pants. I will no longer be buying Groove Pants... Lululemon, please reconsider.

Shows Cellulite
I tried the beautiful bleached coral Grooves on today and was shocked to see cellulite showing through on the backs of my legs! (For reference, I'm 5'4", 115-120 lbs with not a lot of cellulite to speak of.)
Would I want to even try to sweat in them?
The material is very thin and has a degree of transparency. I was wearing a black thong and it showed through loud and clear, as well.
Lulu, I buy less and less from you as the weeks wear on (no pun intended). I'm noticing that that quality of your items is steadily declining yet your prices certainly aren't decreasing and are in some cases rising. In the past year alone, I've given back (not even returned) and received credit for 2 pairs of pants because the stitching became unravelled. I've also had two shirts repaired due to poor stitching.
I've tried a number of shirts on lately that are see-through thin. The Practice Freely tank, for example. The coral/pop orange one is so thin I can see my belly button and the waist band of my pants. Clearly. And that is unfortunate because it is incredibly comfortable. I will not buy it because I think its transparency looks tacky.
When I read the reviews of products like the Power Y, I see that I am not alone in my dissatisfaction. At least it has a built in bra, albeit one you can see.
For the see-through shirts without a built in bra, is this a clever and underhanded technique you use in order to force the consumer to make a simultaneous purchase of a bra or tank top as an under layer merely to avoid indecency?
I have similar quality issues with a number of your other items but will leave those for another day. Bottom line is that there is a trend happening here and I'm noticing it in others' reviews, as well. Your quality is declining and your prices aren't reflecting that change in quality. Many of your pieces are overpriced, even at good quality. I used to shop at Lulu because of the guaranteed quality and didn't mind paying a premium for it. The quality is no longer there for a number of your products. I've lost interest and I'm NOT BUYING!

Love them!!!
Hi, I bought this for my birthday. They are super comfy! I play soccer and softball and I do Yoga, I use them for yoga a lot because you can stretch very easy with these on. A little expensive$ but totally worth it! :)

What a Joke!!!!
Is this really happening!! I thought I was having a bad dream when I tried those new coral colour groove pants!!!! despite the fact that once again they are OVERPRICED, the quality is beyond cheap, poor and terrible, you can see through the underwear even, that's how thin the material is!!!. Seriously, Lululemon, I cannot even find the word to describe how dissapointed I am.. I have a pair of old groove pants from last year, when the material was thick and amazing!!! I don' t understand why after so many customers complaining over and over about the poor lack of quality and the outrageous price, you guys are still selling such terrible quality clothing. Shame on you!

Top 5 Most Flattering Pieces: WELL WORTH IT
I have never purchased any bottoms from LuLu Lemon, but decided to give them a try because of their copious amounts of rave reviews from my friends. WELL WORTH IT. Considering this is my first review, I HIGHLY recommend these. Loved the mint color and I am kidding you when I look 5 lbs thinner. Super comfortable and flattering. Have one of the really helpful/ energetic sales associates help you find your perfect size.

Definitely not the same
Ok,let me start by saying that I used to love lulu and used to go to the store once a week just to see what cute things they have this time that I could get my hands on, unfortunately in a past couple of months I stopped going there cause they stopped making cute, durable, good quality clothes that will justify the price u have to pay, but today I decided to go just b/c I needed new pair of my fave groove pants for my trip next day since my old one started to peel. When I try the new once on in the store (good thing I did) they where def not the same as old one. All my grooves are size 10 but when I try them in store in size 10 they where sooo big and buggy, so thin and not as flattering as the old groove. I asked the girl in store what happened to those pants and she try to make me believe they r exactly the same but trust me,they are not actually those r horrible and if not the fact I needed something for the plane and I found a pair on sale I would have never bought them. And btw I had to size down to 8 in order for them to look semi good and not to loose and unflattering. What happened with you lulu?????? Do I have to switch to Lucy or athleta?!
