Core Short

a sweat-wicking, four-way stretch fabric that's cool to the touch and fits like a second skin - this technical fabric offers support and smooth, low-friction performance
woven for strength and no-bulk performance, this four-way stretch fabric moves with us and stays out of our way

why we made this

We designed these long, loose-fitting shorts to wear running or at the gym. We made them without a liner so we can throw them on over our underwear, compression shorts or run tights (and if we go commando, we stay in the back row during Downward Dog).

fabric + features

  • woven for strength and no-bulk performance, Swift Ultra fabric is engineered to feel light and keep you covered
  • soft, comfortable waistband made of Luxtreme™ fabric wicks sweat away from your skin

Core Short 4.3 5 117 118
Another PLEASE fix the iphone pocket review Love the core short. Own at least a dozen of the previous version and decided it was time to replenish my supply. Ordered three and purchased one at a local store without checking the size of the phone pocket foolishly assuming one of the best features of the Core short had remained the same. Silly me. Needless to say this change is extremely disappointing. PLEASE fix this oversight or design error. October 14, 2014
Best shorts for overall use I use these shorts for casual wear and of course the gym, from heavy lifting to sweaty cardio these bad boys get em done, just ordered a new pair, my third pair or cores I bought my first pair over a year ago and still stand by them. October 7, 2014
Core shorts I love the core shorts until they changed the design for the tech pocket. The new design has a flap but overall the pocket is too short, too high, and too hard to get iphone in and out of. Designers need to go back to the old design. They supposedly made this change because of complaints their phone fell out, but I never had that problem. The others must have been standing on their head!!! Really?!?!? October 3, 2014
Old core shorts for the win I purchased these new core shorts the other day, and i brought them right back. The fabric feels way different from the core shorts I (not a bad or good thing) purchased 2-3 months ago, also the side pocket for your phone, is useless. What's it intended for? October 2, 2014
New Core Short After a friend wore these shorts, I went out and got a pair- after which, I went out and bought several more. The length, texture, fabric and length were all perfect for working out and lounging. Recently I went back to get another pair and was disappointed. The only redesign that was improved was the new elastic band. The pockets aren't as deep, they cut off at least two inches on the length and they are a much slimmer design. Perfect if you're a vegan or an Asian male who typically have narrower bodies, not so much if you eat meat and aren't Asian. Please revert back to the old design of more length with more room and bigger pockets. September 30, 2014
Great shorts I currently have two pairs of the core shorts. I use them daily for CrossFit and haven't found anything that compares. They are extremely light and very durable which is a must for our workouts. I would recommend these to anyone looking for something that will last through the toughest of workouts. September 30, 2014
Why keep changing these? Grrrrrrrrrr A few years ago, the core shorts were phenomenal. Thick material, reflective Lulu logo, great side pocket, great waistband (luxe inside, short material outside) and the waistband was a narrow-ish string with metal ends and the key pocket had an elastic loop. Then you go and change the material to something much thinner. Then the logo changes and it's not reflective (but you've gone back to the reflective one). Then you change the waistband to a flat, thick material which honestly just gets in the way. Now you shrink the side pocket so an iphone will barely fit and only will fit if shoved in there. Then the key pocket doesn't have the elastic loop anymore. The waistband is luxe - big deal...really don't care. So the latest (and probably last pair) of core shorts: cruddy thin material phone pocket stinks and is almost unusable key pocket doesn't have elastic loop ribbon like waistband that just gets in the way I wear Core shorts every single day, at least once a day and sometimes twice. I will continue to wear my older, better ones but won't plunk out $60 for any new ones as long as this new design stays the way it is. I don't even want the ones I just bought and I can't return them because I didn't figure out all of their flaws until I had them on and was beginning my workout away from home. September 16, 2014
Most comfterable shorts These are hands down, the most amazing pair of shorts that I own. They're styleish, comfy, and can be used for anything! I plan on buying many more of these! September 15, 2014
Awesome Shorts Absolutely love these shorts. I can't imagine ever buying another pair of shorts from another company and I am a huge Oakley and Under Armour fan. These shorts are a step above the rest and I would wear them all the time if I could. I can't ding them about the i-phone pocket thing because it just doesn't matter that much to me. AWESOME!!! By FAR the best pair of shorts I have ever worn. I lift and run almost everyday and I just cant get enough of these. They are perfect for the grind September 10, 2014
