Bummer
Wow, you changed the material (for the worse). I have two Core shorts of the better material and bought a third which will need to be round-tripped. I am very disappointed. You convinced a consumer to pay $50+ for a pair of shorts and then went cheap? Someone fell asleep at the wheel in the QC department.

Great for CrossFit
Paired with some sort of dri fit boxer brief makes this perfect CrossFit. Wide leg opening is great for activities like squats. Also if you prefer a longer leg, this is better than the Pace Breaker and Surge.

Great workout shorts
The roomy leg opening and light weight make these shorts great for any type of workouts that I'm doing. The material feels great and moves very well. I found the length to be just about perfect. The deep pockets are a nice touch with lightweight shorts like these to keep keys, phone, etc from falling out. Definitely a keeper!

LOVE!
Yeah these shorts freaking rock. I would wear them everyday of the year if they allowed me to at work, and if it didn't get cold. They look great for almost any situation, they're totally functional with pockets, and of course you can work out in them. Oh yeah, and they're SUPER comfortable! I have two pairs in black, and just bought a third pair in bright blue, not offered on the web site right now, I guess in store only for the time being. Material is awesome, stretchy and super comfortable. No cons that I can think of, as long as you don't mind not having a butt pocket. Oh yeah, and I love the cell phone pocket in the left front pocket, perfect size for an iPhone.

husband absolutely loves it!
I bought the core shorts for my husband as part of his birthday present and he absolutely loves it to not only work out in, but wear casually. He now has three pairs, and swore three months ago he would never spend so much money on a pair of shorts! Lulu please make them in more manly colors like brown/army green!!

Solid "Core" Product
I have been very slow to incorporate Lulu into my life. My wife is a pretty big fan and owns a fair amount of the clothing. We have 2 stores in our city and I visit the store weekly. I have attended focus group meetings to offer feedback specific to running and ran the Lulu half in August (wore nike). My wife has bought me a few items and I have returned most, but kept a few. For Christmas, I received 2 items- kung fu pants and core shorts. The core shorts are strong. I run and do crossfit workouts. They are perfect for my needs. They look great and you don't know they are on. I'm sold and will give other products a chance. My taste likes simple and classic design features and I appreciate the product. Nice work! Shout out to Lulu (Leawood, KS) and ALL the staff!

NOT made for yoga
Spent 64 bucks on a pair of Core shorts and they are the worst possible thing to wear in yoga class. Does not wick sweat, bunches up, clingy on the legs, had to make constant adjustments during postures because material isn't stretchy
(all of this is contrary to website info on shorts, and what the employees said in the store).
Tried to return them (after washing) and was informed by the store manager that full refunds on something that a person wears once during yoga would be "gross".
Horrible return policy. If a store charges more than Nordstrom's, I expect the same good customer service.
Was offered store credit, but frankly don't want more garbage made in china that I can't wear during yoga. Left the shorts on the counter and walked away. Awful experience, will never shop here again.
Save your money and time, shop elsewhere for men's yoga clothes.

Wow what happened???
Why on earth did you change these shorts?
I have 4 pairs of the older style, with non blacked out logo. Saw you had some new blue shorts and went to my store to check them out. Comparing these with the new shorts, the quality difference is striking.
Material is thin. Definitely going to stick with my older shorts

Wrong order or incorrect photos?
I have been a loyal lulu customer for a few years now. I have always recommended lululemon to my friends and family. I was excited to get a new pair of core shorts for my birthday, but what I got was different then what I thought I was getting from the pictures on the website. I visited my local store, but didn't like the new super thin fabric used or the blacked out lulu symbol on the leg. I checked the website, the pictures of the black core shorts appear to be the thicker fabric that I like about the other core shorts I own. The pics also show the reflective symbol. I ordered these. When I got them in the mail today, I was disappointed. They had the thin fabric and the blacked out symbol. Was just wondering if my order got mixed up, or the photos were wrong.

Good but... please bring back the striped material
Nice to see the core shorts back, but the new logo and material leaves something to be desired. As others have said, they are the perfect length but...a few years ago, these shorts (and pants) were made out of a striped material that was simply unreal in terms of good quality and looks. Years later, the two pairs I have look like new after hundreds of washes and trips to the gym. The colored draw string was a nice touch along with the black on black logo, or the relective logo on the other colours. Please bring back the amazing striped material for mens core pants and shorts.
