UGHHH I have wanted Lululemon crops FOR YEARS, and I finally took the plunge and treated myself to a pair in November. I listened carefully to the cashier's instructions about washing carefully and with like items. Flash forward two months, and I've only worn the crops twice while studying. Finally done with my finals I got around to my laundry last night and washed my crops for the first time in cold water with other black work out gear, and left them hanging to dry. So disappointed to find that the seam down the back of the pants is frayed and now has several strings hanging off the back of the pants. While I know I can easily just snip the strings and pray the seam holds, I would have expected MUCH better quality spending a near fortune on one pair of pants. Was hoping to buy another pair of crops for myself as a Christmas treat, but maybe I'm better off taking my business elsewhere December 22, 2014
So disappointed After saving up all summer I bought myself these pants as a going away present for myself for college. I was so excited to finally have my own pair of lulu crops! The fit was great, the fabric was soft, and I was so happy. I did everything they say to do to take care of them; I even washed them in their own loads so that they wouldn't get washed with bulky things like sweatshirts. However, 2 months later I noticed that the fabric on the back and sides was starting to pill and become fuzzy. A few weeks later I saw that the seam on the left hip is coming out and the fabric around it is completely frayed and noticeably ragged. It has only been 3 months since my purchase of these brand new leggings and they already look like they're a good year or two old. Safe to say I'm very very disappointed; I was really looking to get my money's worth out of these :( December 3, 2014
Great pants - small fit I bought these pants about a month ago online so I didn't get the chance to try them on. I didn't realize they were a different fabric from the the typical groove pant I usually get, but it's great! The fabric is definitely breathable and they hold their shape great! I will just say that they do fit small (especially if you have a butt, like myself) I bought them in my regular size and they are way too tight so I'd suggest possibly going up a size. I didn't bother taking them back because there are no stores around me, but I still enjoy them. December 1, 2014
nice crops, bad experience I bought these pants earlier this year (about 6 months ago) and loved them at first. They were comfortable for whatever activity I was engaging in, be it running, yoga, etc., and seemed durable. A few months ago, however, I noticed that the inner waistband pocket ripped (without a known cause or accident), causing my keys to float around inside the pants while I'm working out - not fun! Keep in mind, this happened within the first few months of owning them, but of course, I don't have a receipt anymore. It should also be noted that I don't even own a dryer, so I can't be at fault for "compromising the integrity of the fabric", as the staff at Lulu like to remind you during your purchase. All in all, I wish I hadn't spent as much money on them as I did, seeing as I don't believe I subjected the pants to any harsh conditions or severe wear and tear, other than wearing them in your typical workout setting, and they have already suffered some damage. Stretches over time When I bought these leggings in a size four, they fit snugly around the waist and butt. I am saddened, however, that after a couple wears and washes the leggings are too big. They no longer fit comfortably and I am forced to constantly pull them up over and over again. It is loose and baggy even though I followed washing instructions. I have seen other reviews on this problem so maybe try buying one size down? I am dissatisfied to say the least. November 23, 2014
Nice customer service... declining quality. I have always loved Lululemon's wunder under crops. When I saw the purple (maroon) colored luxtreme crops I decided to order them online. I wore them a few times, but felt that they were rolling over and I saw sort of "runs" in the pants. I walked into a Lululemon store and the sales lady was unbelievably helpful - she suggested I try on one size up as luxtreme was tighter than the normal wunder unders. She was right! And she let me exchange the smaller luxtreme crops even after I wore them twice. I was very pleased with the service. BUT. Now I have worn the new crops and still see similar issues (no rolling down), but "runs" in the pants after literally only two wears. The runs are not through the fabric, but definitely noticeable when sitting down. I don't know if it's from pulling up the leggings, but I've never seen this in a Lululemon product before. And while they overall fit better, they do fall down and I have to pull them up. I do not have this issue with my previous luon wunder unders (that are from a few years ago). Overall, I find that I avoid wearing these pants as I fear they are "too delicate" and will run! That should not be the case! I've worn Lululemon pants for YEARS without any problem... I feel the quality of Lululemon items is definitely declining - as I've never had to worry about items being "too delicate" or running. Despite the company's willingness to always please customers, which is appreciated, it doesn't make up for poorer quality clothing. November 19, 2014
Subpar Crops I bought these already owning a pair of full length ones. First I ordered a size 10 and they seemed tighter than the pair I already owned so I returned them an ordered a size 12 which I regret doing because I have to full them up every few minutes. The other issue I have with them is that I bought them about a month and a half ago and have only worn them approximately 5 times and the seam on the inner leg is coming undone. This has never happened to any of my other lulus and has me very disappointed. November 16, 2014
piling first pair of lulus i have ever gotten and they are super comfortable but my mom accidentally washed and dried them with other clothes once and there was a lot of piling on it. Its really expensive but really comfortable but be really careful when washing them. Also, its probably just my size but i'm 5'1'"and 96 lbs and i got a size 4 so i could wear them longer and the sign on the crop is almost at my knee not really in the middle of my calf. See threw I bought these pants wore them once so uncomfortable and not only that but they are see threw I was so embarrassed at the gym i would like to take them back November 5, 2014
Not what I hoped for I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I loved the soft feel in the fitting room but as soon as I started moving in barre, the pants were rolling down (maybe they are too tight? the girl at the store said they were the right size). It was definitely distracting to keep hiking them up which did not happen at all when I tried my friend's Inspire crops in two sizes smaller. Those were great and did not move at all. Not sure if its the material, too big or too small, but my first attempt to pick my own Lulus was sadly not a success. October 9, 2014
