Disappointed in the pilling I was extremely happy with my purchase for about a month. They were comfortable and I loved the fit. As time wore on, however, the inner thigh area began to pill. I followed the was instructions (washing them with other athletic wear), however it didn't help. As I walked/ran, the fabric brushed against itself and now I have become annoyed. I would not recommend these unless your thighs do not touch. The fabric simply is not made to move around in. November 23, 2014
perfect in the first three months i absolutely loved these crops when i first got them. they fit and flattered beautifully and stayed in place. after a few weeks they started to pill, which was to be expected since my thighs do touch. but after about three months, they started sagging (i haven't lost weight or changed size since 2010, so it definitely was the pant and not my shape) and got kind of fuzzy all over and started collecting dust/fuzz like mad. i used to never have to hike these up, but now i have to do it at least five times during class. after four months, these look more like four year old pants. i follow the washing directions carefully, but it seems like luon is an inferior fabric to luxtreme. very sad about these. i'm also having the same problem with my roll-down ones. looks like i'll be sticking to luxtreme from now on. Let me start by saying I love Lululemon. I got a bunch of products a few years back and they have held up to their quality and workmanship through the years. Just bought a few more items to update my workout wardrobe and what a disappointment so far! I will say, I love these pants. There SUPER comfortable, have great support and are breathable. BUT, I just bought these crops on October 7th and I ALREADY have 2 holes in the crotch/padding area and theres a start to another hole and a string starting to come out in another spot... after 5 weeks?!? What? WHAT?!?!? Piling I can understand since thighs rub together but this is just plain unacceptable! And, hello embarrassing (thanks for a friend pointing it out while I was squating)!! Needless to say, paying $72 for these pants, when I could have spent a fraction elsewhere is SUPER, SUPER disappointing. Aren't we paying for lulu quality?! November 15, 2014
Major Quality Slip Up So I went into Lulu tonight armed with a $700 gift card....no you didn't read that wrong...$700! A very awesome raffle prize from work. I was so excited, as I'm a massive lulu fan and I was in need of some new Wunder Unders. I own about 5 pairs currently, but they are all about ~2 years old so it was time to start replacing them! I grabbed my regular size 6, however I do have a lot of junk in the trunk. So I always try a size 8 too. The quality on these has gone DOWNHILL. They are so unbelievably thin. I'm glad I did the bend over test, because they were completely sheer. I thought that maybe it was a size issue, so I tried the larger size. Except they 8's were clearly too big (baggy in the crotch, waist) however....still SHEER! I tried on TWO more pairs in 6, thinking that maybe it was a bad pair. No change! I was shocked, I own 5 pairs of these tights in black at home (I wasn't kidding when I said I was a fan). They are the most amazing things ever. Never fall down, always hold their shape, aren't sheer etc. I wore them so much I had dedicated gym/yoga pairs and 2 pairs for going out, wearing with boots, etc. I am so disappointed Lulu. I even tried the Luxtreme fabric, and those have gone way downhill too! I remember whenever someone mentioned that Lulu was too expensive and you could get similar quality from Target, I would always say No way! Lulu makes fantastic leggings. Unfortunately....I can't say that anymore. Needless to say, I left the store with....nothing. Luckily the GC doesn't expire so I am going to hold out and hope that in a few months the new batch will be better thicker fabric. But I know if it wasnt for the GC, I'd probably never be back. I was ready for a fantastic lulu shopping spree, but that didn't happen =( For the time being I'm going to follow a friends advice and check out Titika Active wear for some black leggings to tide me over. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time. November 13, 2014
Hello Cellulite! I love crops! I decided to add the cranberry to my collection as red is beautiful and I haven't seen this color before. Sadly, unlike the other dark colors I own ... This pair became pretty sheer and are quite thin. You can see dimples and cellulite through them (which obviously everyone wants to hide!) along with the sweat that you end up with after a good workout. :( November 13, 2014
Amazing at first... I LOVED these pants when I first bought them. I swear I lived in them for the first few weeks of owning them. After following all of the correct washing instructions, unfortunately, the seams are coming apart, there is A LOT of pilling, and the material is thinning. I do still love them, but I am disappointed. November 12, 2014
These crops were 100% my FAVORITE!!!! Beyond soft and comfy, but sadly the pilling on them is insane! They have also become super sheer in the crotch area for some reason...total bummer because these are amazing other than that and most of my other lulu stuff holds up and doesn't pill in the slightest. Sad to say these have become pants I will only wear at home when everything else is in the laundry! November 8, 2014
Not-so-great crops I got these a couple of months ago, and I LOVED them! However, after a few washes (maybe 4), they began piling terribly--just like the other reviewer wrote--especially in the crotch area. Before purchasing these Lulu crops, I had a pair from Target for a year or so that I wore all the time, and they never did this, despite wearing much more often than these newer Lulu crops. Again, at first, they were wonderful; but after wearing a few times, they are not as great as previously thought because of the low quality. November 8, 2014
Great crops-- but quickly disappointed I loved these crops so much, but after two washes they started piling terribly, even though I washed them as instructed and did not dry... The piling is terrible, especially in the crotch area. I am so so disappointed, because I love Lululemon's products and have never had a problem before... I would have probably been better off picking up a pair of cheap crops from target instead because of how cheap these now look. So sad lulu! October 26, 2014
Um, no Just recently bought these, didn't even occur to me to do a sheerness test (LESSON LEARNED) and got told in yoga that everything was visible. So embarrassing. I have a ton of Lulu, and with the new full on luon, I thought these problems were in the past. Nope. Recently started testing all my pants and found many are sheer. The ones with patterns are better, but solid colors, I will stay away. So disappointed. October 23, 2014
