Lulu-please don't change the fabric! I own approximately 20 pairs of Lululemon pants: Run: Inspire Crops, Wunder Under crops and pants, Groove and Astro pants, and Studio pants (and an assortment of tops). I teach and practice hot yoga, and I run. The Run: Inspire Crops are my all-time favorites but after visiting a store yesterday I noticed that the fabric keeps changing. It's stiffer and thicker and does not feel as nice and supple as the pants I currently own. I always size up to avoid sheerness (which is not brand specific--as a yoga teacher I, unfortunately, see sheerness problems with many brands). What I've loved about Lulu fabric in the past is it's stretch, give, fit, and comfort. I went to the store looking to purchase something new and left empty-handed. The fabric quality (and current designs) are sorely lacking. Please stop trying to improve what already worked. July 23, 2014
Seams pulling apart I bought these crops to wear for days that i would be doing more active things at work than usual. I bought them in April, it is now July and the seams that are between my legs are pulling apart and i now have two holes and cannot wear them! i paid almost 100 dollars for them and they are falling apart! The quality seems quite poor. Is there a way i can get new ones or fix these old ones i have? July 22, 2014
Quality is Abysmal I have always bought Lululemon and have never had a problem with the products. I haven't had to buy pants over the last 5 years or so because the quality has been superb. I just bought these pants in charcoal grey/purple about month or so ago and finally tried them out. They are so thin. I'm concerned that they'll just fall apart. I'll be lucky if they last as long as my other pants. They are practically see through and I was very self conscious when I was working out. I agree with the other commenters, the quality has decreased considerably. I will no longer buy any more pants from Lululemon until the quality is where it was 5+ years ago. July 22, 2014
running snag I love my Inspire crops but I've snagged the back mesh and hoping someone would have some advice on how to fix the snag or stop the little holes from getting bigger. Take care of your lulu gear, it seems to be getting more and more delicate. July 22, 2014
so disappointed When I took my first pair of these for a run, I thought my life had changed forever. They were so comfortable, good looking, and were the first pair of crops I'd found that were high-ish waisted and stayed up throughout the run. I bought a second pair, and wore them each 1-2 times a week, following the directions for care. About 4 months later, my first pair started to come apart in the upper/inner thigh (ie crotch). I brought them in and the employee gave me full store credit. Since then, I've been gifted a third pair of these, and for a while all was well and I hoped the rips in the first were a one-time thing. Last week, my second pair started to come undone in the exact same spot. I brought it in to the same store, and the girl at the front desk informed me that hers "do that ALL the time" (this is the worst marketing I've ever heard). She had their seamstress sew them back up. Yesterday, during a short run, my 3rd pair began to came apart in the exact same spot. Today, when I went to pick up the repaired 2nd pair, I told the man at the front desk that I was no longer interested in these pants and did not want to get my 3rd pair repaired but wanted store credit instead. After explaining that not 1, not 2, but 3 pairs of these have come apart in the exact same spot, all within months of buying them (and store employees told me this was my size, so it's not like they're too small), he seemed pretty embarrassed and gave me the full store credit. I'm interested to see how many runs my "repaired" crops last, my guess is less than 10 but I hope I'm wrong. I have never found another pair of crops that fit as well as these or perform as well as these do for about their first 5 runs. But, I do have a few pairs of pants (from another company) that I bought for half the price about 10 years ago and they have literally no holes. I am tired of the lack of quality in these pants. I hope this company will realize that while they have some nice pants that are durable enough for a walk down the block or a yoga class, they need to provide better quality for people who are actually athletic (ie runners). If they are selling pants as "run" pants, they need to make them durable enough that someone can go on more than a handful of runs before these start to fall apart. July 21, 2014
Disappointing--what happened to Lulu's quality?? I have 3 pairs of Run: Inspire Crops and have loved running and working out with them for years. I've gotten into the habit of buying a new pair in July and was about to order online when I read reviews that were a little wishy washy. I decided to head into my local store to try them on before I bought. Also, I have to say that I totally recognize that I'm lucky I'm close enough to be able to try clothes on before ordering but I wish that I didn't have to--and the only reason I have to is because of quality concerns. One pair of my Run: Inspire Crops is a size 6, then I lost about 15 pounds and subsequently bought two pairs in a size 4. I still wear them all but the 6s don't stay up so well. Anyway, I went into the store and tried the Run: Inspire Crop II on first in a 4. The black material was entirely see through--you could see my skin, my panties--everything. I didn't need to bend over for them to be see through, either. I also noticed that the material felt different, almost like it been sprayed with hairspray all over. An associate suggested that maybe they felt different because they were too small. Okay, fair enough. I tried on a 6 and then an 8 and experienced the same exact sheerness issues. I buy Lululemon products because they're practical. Yes, they're stylish, but I buy them because they get the job done and last for years. At least, they used to. I don't want my tush hanging out when I'm working out or running. Granted, I hope nobody's close enough to be able to see through my pants, but how awkward and honestly, how embarrassing for Lulu to charge $86 for pants that are sheer and apparently not so durable, either. What gives, Lululemon? I'm not interested in your clothes for lounging, I'm interested in them for running, barre, and yoga. I don't want to stop buying them but am not sure what else to do. Please, please, please--fix your quality issues for real, not just with some kind of a bandaid! July 19, 2014
Best workout pants ever!! I absolutely love these pants. The material is fantastic. I do kick boxing and the material breathes and is very comfortable and cool when I sweat in the crazy classes that I do. I only hand wash and hang dry all of my Lulu things so I haven't had any quality issues. These are low waisted pants which I like and the compression sucks everything in so they are very flattering. Highly recommend for running or kickboxing... in all honesty they work for any sport. July 19, 2014
Great look but poor quality , super bummed These are great minus the quality. I love lululemons and have tons of clothes from here but these are falling apart. I handwash and air dry them to be safe. The tops of my one pair are unraveling and string is coming out all the time. Both pairs have at least two holes by where the seams are and the sewing. I sewed them together for the time being but they don't look as good. I love them though because of the look and how thin they are which makes them awesome for running. I run a lot. But it's annoying. July 18, 2014
quality is getting worse I own about 20 pairs of lululemon pants which I have acquired in the last couple years. I agree that the quality is getting poorer. I noticed comparatively to the yoga pants the running pants fall apart much faster which much greater pilling. I also wasn't informed until i went to the store that in the running pants I should be sizing up. Then the saleswoman I had tried to say it was my fault for the pilling and insinuate I should have known that. I will be sticking with the yoga pants. July 17, 2014
Disapointed I recently purchased the charcoal grey/purple Run Inspire II and I am completely disappointed in them. These are my 3rd pair and my first 2 pair are my absolute favorite work out crops. I washed my new pair once and I did not dry them ( I never dry my lulu's) and the seam is already unraveling on the back side. This makes me so sad because they are so cute and I spent a lot of money on them. July 17, 2014
