why we made this

When we're training hard on the track and the trails, we want to be able to work up a serious sweat without grime sticking to our legs. We designed these run crops out of wicking fabric that pulls sweat away from our skin when we bring the heat. Want to race?

Different fit than the regular lux inspires I ordered the green camo inspires assuming they would fit like all my other run inspire crops and I was very disappointed because these fit very different in the waist. I could barely work out in them because every time I squatted I would have to pull them back up. Im not sure if it is because the material has less give or if they are actually cut lower but they roll down just when walking. September 28, 2014
Not a Fan I ordered the black camo, very fond of the print. I don't find them see through as other reviewers have stated. I have three pairs of the Run: Inspire II crops but none in the Luxtreme fabric. My regular size 8 feels very small. I work as a massage therapist and prefer something with a bit more stretch to them. So I could see how someone more active might like the compression type feel. I gave these a 3 because I'm unsure if I will bother keeping them. I imagine I'll return them and get a second pair of the seek the heat crops instead. I don't think they're worth $92.00. poor quality I bought these crops for a running class I'm taking this semester. I was so in love with them when I tried the crops on, however, after one class with a little jogging and some stretching, I noticed a small hole in the crops on the left thigh. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about these crops. I've been an avid lover of all things lulu, but this is just ridiculous. I've never had a problem before with run inspire crops, and they're always my go to pair when running but I refuse to pay 90 dollars for a crop that lasts me one run. September 20, 2014
these do not breathe well These Run Insipre II: All Luxtreme in heathered deep coal/fa14 quilt 31/deep coal do not breathe well. I own several pairs of Inspires (all luxtreme and the vented versions), many luxtreme crop iterations, and I own the wunder under crops in full on luxtreme. Of all my luxtreme bottoms, the luxtreme that comprises this particular print is unlike the luxtreme of all my other pairs. These are not silky to the touch, are scratchy, they bag under my bottom, and, worst of all, provide absolutely no airflow to the legs. I wore these this morning to my regular bootcamp class and got so overheated. Halfway through the class I ended up pulling the crops halfway up my thigh for relief. I've never had to do that before... Also, the "down there" sweat was pretty noticeable with these on. For what it's worth though, I do tend to sweat heavily, and most of my colored lulu crops show sweat down there. Sweat marks are something I can live with and am not too bothered by. I'm disappointed, as I really love the heathered coal color of these crops. They do look awesome on and are very compressive. However, sadly, as someone who "runs hot" these will not get much, if any, wear after today's experience. September 17, 2014
Poor quality These are sheer. For $100 that is really upsetting. I love the pattern, fit, and details. I just wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing the black camo. September 14, 2014
nice crop the fabric is not flexible and as what was said in the review, yes, you have to size up...but the print is cute... September 14, 2014
Not sweat wicking Ordered these in a 6- feel large. I have a pair of speed tights in a 6 that are nice & snug, very supportive. Not these. Extremely disappointed in size and quality! My biggest complaint is the lack of sweat wicking. I took these out on an easy 3 mile run and was shocked when I got home and it looked like I wet my pants!! So embarrassing!!! I can't imagine them holding up on a 10 mile run!! Very disappointed! Not the quality I'd expect in a $100 pair of running tights!! Look good but extremely poor quality! So sad! Love my speed tights tho!! Please make a crop with speed tight quality!!! September 9, 2014
Barre class fail I bought these pants in May, super comfortable gray/pink version. I loved them, wore them infrequently for fear of ruining them... Imagine my horror today in barre class when I look down and see them piling up the thigh. I couldn't even concentrate bc I was so upset. When you fork over $90 for pants, you don't expect them to pill after a few wears. Very disappointed lulu. September 9, 2014
Give Lulu a chance and they disappoint I bought these tights in the black camo August 18/14 & today was my third time wearing them. I thought they were pretty good quality until a fellow gym goer noticed thread hanging off my left butt cheek. The lulu symbol is unravelling. What a disappointment that the quality of this brand is lacking and the poor workmanship is truly evident now. Lulu was awesome the first few years but now something has changed. The quality... I ignored the scathing publicity of the so called see thru tights & kept shopping at lulu. Now that I am in the possession of a shabby unravelling piece of clothing that I can not wear now confirms that the reviews must be legit. I will not be purchasing any more merchandise and this makes me question the type of value for the money charged for such item(s). This is so not cool. September 8, 2014
Don't size up I bought the green camo print. I read a lot of reviews about them being too tight and to size up. So I bought a size 6, usually I wear a size 4. Well I wish I bought my regular size because they fit a bit loose, I have to pull the drawstring and tie it so it fits right. They still look good, but if it were in my size 4 then they would be perfect! Make sure you buy your actual size. September 8, 2014
