I went to my store today and picked the black and bordeaux drama in markdown. great price! They are thick, compressive and not sheer at all. I didn't give them five stars because I'm a size 2 and was super disappointed to see that the BD only came from size 4. I got it anyway, but they don't feel perfect. I don't know why Lulu is releasing so many new things from size 4, there's no petite sizes, now no 2? I would have paid full price for this crops in BD size 2... Instead I waited and got them in MD not feeling 100% happy about the fit. Really I'm getting more and more frustrated seing nice things that only come from sz 4.
The blacks are awesome though, thicker than the inspires and very flattering. So if you find your size, I would totally recommend them!

I loved the look of this crop. The fabric was compressive, the lines were flattering-- and SIDE POCKETS! I no longer buy run crops without side pockets-- I think they're that great.
However, I took these babies out for a spin over the weekend, and yikes. They pinched behind my knees so much. I don't have big knees, and this hasn't been a problem for me with other crops, so I'm not sure what is going on. The fabric is thick and compressive, so perhaps that's the issue?
I have to give one star because I won't ever wear them again-- I was so uncomfortable. Bummer, because I loved these otherwise.
Found them TTS- size 4- 5'3", 120# (muscular), 25" waist, 35.5" hip

Thank you LuLu for bringing back the quality in your tights. These tights are well made, thick, with perfect compression. Reminiscent of the inspire tight 3 years ago. I am 5'6" 135lbs and my usual 6 fits great. Please, please continue to make this quality of tight, I love them.

For the Long Haul
I bought these for an ultramarathon so I needed a zippered pocket and extra pockets for gels. Now that my race has passed, I can say these crops worked perfect, no chafing, great quad compression support. I am a petite size 2 and did not have any issues with seams or length. Overall, a great choice for a distance runner. So thankful to Lulu for these crops.

great pants for running
At 5'4, 115-117 I waffle between 4-6 in Lulu bottoms. Since I plan on running in these and not yoga, I went with the 4. I go with a 6 for yoga pants for sheerness issues. The 4 does feel much tighter than my Wunder Under 4's but I think that is the point ... compression-type feel since they were made with running in mind. They are tight in all the right places (i.e. in the rear for support but not in the waist for muffin top, ha ha. I actually had to pull them tight so they would not fall down but once I did pull the string and tie it, there was no more slipping down). I really like these pants. I bought them because I am at the tail end of training for a marathon and needed some motivation, ha ha. I tried them out on a 12-miler (in my taper but all my 20+ runs have been too hot for capris) and they were great. I mainly bought them for the pockets for all my gels and whatnot for marathon and long-distance training. I even put my phone in my pocket for a 5-miler and it did not bounce around in an irritating fashion =) I kind-of forgot it was in there. Though it may rub after a while (on the 5-mile it was really unnoticeable). I went online and bought the wine colored ones, as well (bought black in the store.) I will have a hard decision to make in deciding which one to wear in Chicago! A good problem to have. All-in-all, great pants ... a little tip ... be careful when you pull them on ... for some reason my hands always want to go right on the mesh part when I tug up and though I have not torn it yet, I am afraid that I will! Try to pull them up somewhere else =-) Also, when putting them on you have to kind-of straighten out and fix the pockets so they lay flat but this does not bother me. I have to do that with jeans, too ... just slide your hand in them and done. Again, love these pants. Love all the details. Love the mesh around the calves ... just a nice little detail. Good job, Lulu! Oh, and I have washed them and hung to dry several times with no wear and tear.

I think these pants are great. I wanted a pair of cropped pants and I love the material of these. They are stretchy and comfortable. I love the detailing and am going back for another pair!

seams not working out for me
These fit great in a size 4 (110 lbs 5'4'' very muscular legs) and I love all the pockets and reflectivity. Fits like all my other lululemon running crops. However, after taking them out for an 8 mile run, I noticed that the seams were rubbing right against my lateral hamstring tendons as I ran, so much that after 8 miles I had an open sore in the area of rubbing. I tried them again for a shorter run, thinking maybe it was the weight of my phone, but I started having the same problem in the other leg. These are the only crops I have that have the seams placed in this location. It's definitely something to do with the way the crops fit over my thighs and place the seams right in that spot. I don't see this being a problem for everyone. Unfortunately, I can't return these :(.

Great crops, poor quality
I was so excited to finally commit to my first purchase at Lululemon! I've loved the look and feel of their products for a long time and generally can only afford to window shop, so you can imagine my excitement when I finally took home my first pair. After trying the crops on in store, I knew these would be perfect for my long-distance runs since the compression and fit was impeccable. Unfortunately, after wearing the crops running for the first time, I noticed a fairly significant fray in the front seam (for adjusting the waist band). I had help from an employee in store picking sizes so I know the fray wasn't from trying to squeeze into too small of a size. Although the fray doesn't affect the functionality of the crops, I'm disappointed that after one wear my pants are already falling apart. I saved the tag but they are no longer attached to the pants so the return policy is now void. After this purchase, I am tentative about investing more into Lululemon products.

I searched for a long time to find navy tights and these totally fit the bill, stretchy, comfy and most importantly they DON'T FALL DOWN when you run. These are typical excellent quality tights, fantastic and highly recommended. I am a size 12 and bought an 8.

Beware of the seams
It's been a battle to find pants that fit my petite stature (5'0, 90 lbs). I finally decided to suck it up and purchase these pants since they fit so well lengthwise and they come with 5 pockets. This was my first purchase from Lululemon. I want to love the pants but I am pretty disappointed. After I put them on for the first time for a run, I noticed the manufacturer did not place the seams properly at the legs and the crotch area. Unfortunately, due to the return policy, I am not able to bring these back for an exchange. The seams are uneven and twisted on the legs as seen in the pictures. When I try to twist the pants to adjust the seams, the pants feel twisted and start pulling in all the other areas. One of the seams hit at my knee bone which is a little concerning as it can rub. Luckily these pants offered enough compression that I had no problem on my short run. I can't speak for longer distances but I don't think I will be able to wear these on longer runs. My mom is a seamstress and in her opinion, this is unacceptable for $88 pants.
There are many things I love about these pants, but the seams bother me so much I can't take my mind of it. So buyer beware of the seams and I suggest trying on the pants in the store. If it wasn't for the seams, I'd give the pants 5 stars.
