Studio Crop *No Liner
I purchased the black Studio Crop about 3 months ago. I have love these crops so much, but in the past few weeks the waist band has been bothering me. The inner part of the waistband has broken pieces of hard plastic/elastic that rub my side raw. They have broken and they are poking out. I feel like I paid good money for these crops, and they should hold up better than they have. I only wear them once every few weeks, so they don't get washed very often. When I do wash them, they are washed on gentle cycle and I don't dry them. I can't even wear them to work out in anymore because it hurts too bad! I don't know if this happens often...??? I wish lululemon had a better return/exchange policy. I just want a new pair!!!

Bad from Birth!
I'll start by saying that I love the old pants and they have held up perfectly over the years, however, I was forced to return my last pair of grey studio pants because of the waistband rolling issue. Since I was not conveniently located near a store, I had to pay to have them hemmed, so when I made the return I had to eat that cost. Since then, I've scoured the reviews, just waiting for Lulu to fix this issue so I could get my studio crops and pants fix. Fast-forward to a week or two ago and I talk my husband into purchasing a pair of Studio Crops for me as an early Christmas pressie (this way I figure I won't have to foot the bill for hemming if the waistband issue wasn't fixed - and good thing I did). Right out of the bag the waistband was rolled. Seriously???!!! Why is it so difficult to return to an earlier and successful manufacturing process? I honestly don't understand. I've waited a YEAR before trying these again and they still aren't fixed! I'm attaching a picture so you can all see what I mean about these being flawed from the get-go. Very disappointed, now I have to track down a new similar pant. I will give plus points to my contact at Lulu who sent me a return label without fuss or delay.

I purchase size 8 one soot light studio crop no liner pants online. After one wash I had waistband defect issues. I thought it was just me, because it was bit big on me but I like those type of pants loose. Decided to go to the store near by my home, and purchase another one in black but in size 6. After one wash, had the same waistband defect issue again. Very disappointed that I wasted money on 2 pants and I can?t even wear it. No matter how I wash it or take care of it, the waistband in the front keeps rolling. I?ve been a fan of Lululemon clothes for about 4years now since I started my yoga journey both as a student and a teacher. Pretty disappointed about the quality of the clothes. I find myself buying less and less Lululemon clothes due to poor quality. It's not what it use to be. Sad.

I love the fit but these pants lack quality. I own a few pairs long and short and the most recent ones are black and after three washes (as directed) they are pilled and look older than my first pair of studio crops.

dont like what happens when you wash them
I absolutley love these pants and think that they are fabulous.. UNTIL you wash them.. I noticed the material looks like it is almost burnt and shriveled up, around the butt area and thru the legs.. I am a size 6, usually wear an 8 so that I can be comfortable, so I did not stretch them?? Just disheartening for the price.

Luv my studio crops
I really luv these crops...versatile, light yet durable and packs well. I golf with these, hike, run and use them as my weekend go to wear. They dry quickly and don't chafe. Some reviews complained of rolling waistband but I haven't had any major problems w/ this. The top part of a couple of my crops fold in slightly but definitely doesn't roll over completely and still sits pretty smooth against my waistline. I own at least 8 and will continue to purchase more in colors that appeal. I machine wash and drape on clothing racks to dry...they've held up admirably.

Love these crops!
I purchased these in store in the plum color. I came on-line to read the reviews and was nervous when I read the many issues on the rolling waistband. I debated on returning, but decided to take my chances as the color is GORGEOUS and the fit and versatility of these crops is great!! I wore them for errands about 5 times before washing with no issues and just washed them and they are perfect! I have never owned a previous pair of these crops, so I can't speak to quality comparisons, but I feel the quality of these is great and that these will hold up for many years. I do feel these run slightly large. I am 5'5" and bought these shortly after having my second baby at 160 pounds in a size 6. They were slightly snug...I am now 147 and they fit great. My goal in 140 and I'm sure these will fit at that weight too. I plan on buying another pair in size 6. I am sure that if I did have a rolling waistband issue, lulu would stand behind their product and exchange them no problem especially since it is not at the fault of the consumer!!

Rolling waistband is not worth the money
I should have known better to buy these pants after reading reviews on the waistband defect. I guess I figured they would address the flaw in the waistband. I guess not!

Cargo Pockets Please
The only thing that could make these crops better would be the addition of cargo pockets on each side. (kind of like the yoga camp crops from summer 2012 except no back pockets) (please use zippers again for the simple reason that things sometimes fall out of these pockets while running and jumping around)
Please consider this for your spring & summer versions of these crops.
Thank you :)
For reference, I'm 5'6", 120lbs & wear a 4. I use these crops 3 seasons of the year. I think I've worn them for almost every sport except swimming. They are great for to and from and excellent for playing with children...or behaving like one yourself ;)

love the comfy fit, cheap construction
I bought these capris because my sister had them and loved them. I love the idea of them, and they are very comfortable (in fact I bought the pants a week after buying these), but after wearing them for 6 weeks the seams along my inner thighs are coming apart. The pants themselves aren't coming apart, but the threading is and it looks pretty sloppy and is actually quite noticeable. Considering how much these cost, I would expect much better construction. I would absolutely recommend them if not for the seam issues. I am attaching a photo of the seams.
