Buy it I run about 20 to 30 miles a week and I love this bra. Great support. The ladies at Lulu in chagrin, Ohio helped me and recommended this bra, it is great. Worth every penny. April 18, 2015
More Colors Please I wish I could review this product. I tried it on in the store and pretty much fell in love, but I need a color that will work under the shirts I usually wear. Neither the gray nor light pink are available in my size. I'm checking back regularly and holding out hope that it will be available soon. I wish there was a way to sign up for notifications on a certain product. Even better, a nude color in this bra would be excellent! April 17, 2015
Better for medium impact...LOVE THE MODEL USED Before I review the product: Lululemon has been moving towards thin, willowy models lately. That's cool. but doesn't represent a ton of different body types, making it hard for me to know how things would look on me. I'm petite, and don't fit into any categories. I'm 4'11", 110lbs (give or take 5 depending on the time of year), and I'm muscular and slim in some areas, but carry body fat in my chest, thighs, hips and butt. I am a consistent size 2 in bottoms and a size 2/4 in tops and bras. I wear a 32C/30D in street bras. The models LLL has turned to lately are beautiful, but they don't give me a good idea of how things would look on ME. The model used for the tata tamer is really awesome because she looks way more like me than the other models. She also exudes confidence. I really hope lululemon keeps using models like her (and the one with a darker complexion who does a lot of swimwear and seems to be an exception to the tall willowy crew) in the future, because it's really good to show how incredible Lulu makes a range of women (between sizes 2-14...but that's a different issue...) look. Ok, rant over. Now on to fit: Functionality: This bra is nice for medium impact. For running, I really need to tighten the straps to the max setting, and criss cross them. Then I get good support for long, slow runs. But I wouldn't use this for shorter, fast runs, or any sort of higher intensity running or impact workouts. Probably not good for cross fitters on days where they're doing a ton of bouncing around. Fit: I wear a 32C in this bra, and a 30D in Curvy Kate bras. This fit well, and I like how adjustable it is. Shape: DAYUM this makes the twins look excellent! I even wear it underneath office wear sometimes. One of my female office friends told me my boobs looked awesome when I wore it -probably used to seeing me in tight sports bras so that I can run on my lunch hour :) April 16, 2015
best sports bra I've ever had I bought one of these bras about 6 years ago and used it for playing rugby. Yes, rugby where you are up and down all day running into people and the bra was awesome. I wear 32DD so I struggle with finding bras big enough for my bust and a band tight enough around my ribs, but this one was perfect. I've bought more since then and honestly still use my original tata tamer to this day (for running and working out) because it fits perfectly and hasn't deteriorated even after all those washes. I recently made the mistake of buying a sports bra from another brand name company and absolutely hate it. You can't go wrong with this bra! April 16, 2015
What Happened to the TATA Tamer??? Disappointed really. I received my new Tata Tamer bra yesterday. I bought one in store last year, and these are two different bras ...even though tags say the are the same design product, size, etc. I was happy purchasing a new one in a different colour with my birthday gift card. But this is going back. I don't understand by companies tend to 'reduce' sizes of clothes. This is a full 1 and half smaller... of course it will be almost impossible for one to be comfortable, too tight and difficult to wear! Also, note that I have not over used my first Tata tamer (which I am really happy with).. so no, it has not 'stretched'. My 29 in chest (excluding actual tatas) fits good on the old one which is the exact size it should be. I don't know if I will reorder to see if it is a defect of garment... too disappointed. Not super high impact support, but still great I have one of these bras in a 34E and really love it. I use it for low-med impact sports such as biking and yoga, but I wouldn't recommend it for running. I also really like the racerback option on it. It would be great if lululemon offered more bras designed for larger busts that came in these sizes. Overall though, I love this bra. It's comfortable and doesn't give you a gross uni-boob like a lot of other sports bras not designed for larger busts. This bra is always with me when I'm travelling because it can be worn in place of a normal bra on days that are spent walking the streets of europe for 5 hours or running around airports. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT: This bra is never in stock. I have one, I want more, but it is never available in my size let alone in a variety of colours. Lululemon, please, please, please get this in stock ASAP. It is hard enough to find bras that work for larger busts, so I find it incredibly frustrating that I have finally found one that I like but can never get my hands on a new one. April 15, 2015
Would love to try this bra! After the loss of the booby bracer I was a bit frustrated with Lulu. 36e awesome support bras are not easy to find. Not going to lie, I was disappointed. I went through the process of telling Lulu, etc. Lots of suggestions from the Lulu team but . . . Then a running gf suggested the Tata Tamer, the sizing should work so I was jazzed again, except there aren't any, apparently anywhere in that size, Not online, not in my local and local-ish stores. Super frustrated that there is no love for the well endowed athletic sisters. Training/running is no fun without good support. Hoping it's just a supply and demand thing and that more will be available soon? April 12, 2015
TA TA Tamer Review I am a 34 DD and wanted the most support bra. I was gifted this bra & have to say over time I am disappointed. I found it does not give much support at all and I also got a rash. I have other Lululemon medium support bras that I now use & love. I would use those before going for the TA TA Tamer. I also like on the medium support ones I own it doesn't have that pad which I found frustrating on the tamer. April 11, 2015
Stick with this if you're full-busted This bra is more supportive than the recommendation suggests - I use it for running. I'm typically a DDD-DDDD in regular bras, but can get away with the DD - it does push everything up and out, so you'll get a lot of cleavage and va-va-voom, but it does the trick for me. Quality is very good, and I like the variety of colours. April 7, 2015
What is with the padding? Please. The padding in this bra is the worst. Cheap and bunches. As somebody with an E cup, I need something a little thicker than a cloth to keep my ta ta's tamed. This pull out pad is not the answer. This was not well thought out. April 6, 2015
