Ta Ta Tamer II (C-E cup)
After a long search for a comfortable bra for during my pregnancy I thought I had found the answer! I tried these on in the store and thought I had finally achieved booby comfort. I bought the band size up one from my usual because I had read some reviews that they are really tight, and I'm a growing girl. They fit great at that time and I even bought two because I was so pumped. After wearing for a day the band stretched so much that the back was coming unclasped. This happened with both of them. I can't even wear either of them now and am so disappointed!

Hopeful as well
I too was hopeful and will be returning Ta-Ta immediately!! I am a 36DD and this sports bra is not true to size. The band was extremely small, and the cup was a smidge small too. The product is beautiful, but not for me...maybe size up if you are bigger busted.

I was very hopeful
I bought this on sale and was super excited about receiving it! I wear a 36D without problems and when I received this bra, I had to look at the size a few times, because it was so tight I thought it was some sort of product error! I mean this thing is so tight with the straps completely loss and the band hook on the biggest hook, it squeaked by getting closed! It made me laugh because it was beyond tight....I just couldn't believe it! I'd suggest trying it on in the store and not to order online if you haven't tried this one before! I've never not loved my lulu purchase
so this was a real bummer!

The "awe" wore off.
The short version: cups are big. Size down at least one size and it'll probably work swimmingly. Band is amazing and has held up like new even after a year and a half.
The long version: I have two of these, both purchased in December 2012 ahead of a backpacking Eurotrek + semester abroad. I ordered them a few days apart. When the first one arrived, I was bouncing around my parents' house like a fairy and singing this thing's praises. Props to Lulu for getting them to my doorstep in the winter within less than a day of ordering them.
Sometime during my trek (which preceded the exchange), though, my excitement wore off. My girls are different sizes anyway, but I found the larger of the two - which is usually the one I size for - was still left with a gap when I fitted this bra properly against my chest. Moral of the story? The cups are big. I'd recommend sizing down one or even two sizes. The band fit excellently. All in all, my sizing fail cost one star.
Star two goes because when I fit this properly, either with the straps crossed or not, the fabric digs into my armpits. It doesn't hurt but it's not exactly comfortable either. The fact the cups are too large on me plays into this, but it's also because I'm petite. I have to wear the straps as short as they go when not crossed in order to have any support at all, but that makes this thing dig. Also, paradoxically, when the straps are crossed I have to wear them as long as they go and they still dig, this time into my shoulders as well as underarms. Again, possibly related to the large cups, but I'm not totally convinced.
I will say that a lot of this may be my weird body shape. I'm 5'2" and hourglass-shaped but I have big triangular man shoulders. Still, petite gals, be warned. I still use them on pretty much a daily basis because sports bras are even more frigging expensive on a grad student budget - I don't know that I would purchase these again, but I would at least suggest them to more normal-shaped, taller friends.

I can't workout/run/do yoga without this bra anymore!! Complete life changer. My tatas actually stay in place and I find myself living in this bra all weekend long because it's so comfortable and supportive for running around in.
I would LOVE this bra without the clasps though...they start to get bent out of shape after many many uses and I'm often struggling to do them up.

I love the Tata Tamer! I'm always on the go, all round physical life!
Discovered it quite by accident , not being a Lulu kind of girl,
And really want to wear it all the time! Please make it in a nude for work clothes and lighter colours. Then my searching is over!

This is very comfy to wear. It's supportive without squeeshing the girls.
I'd classify this bra as a moderate support though.
The fabric is incredibly soft & comfortable with mild stretch. The 3 hooks on the back is great too, feels sturdy and holds well. The straps are lightly padded so they never cut into the shoulders and has a good width to them too.

Less versatile than I expected but still very good
I like this bra a lot. It fits me extremely well without digging in. I wear a 36D and appreciate the absence of underwire. It is more comfortable for yoga or working out AND I didn't feel like it was less supportive as a result. My pros and cons are below.
-IMO it works best as a cross back. In the standard over shoulder style, one of my straps sometimes slid out of its thingy on the back and it was also less comfortable for me to wear that way. As a cross back, the straps stay in place perfectly no matter how sweaty I get.
Coverage could go either way. If you like a slightly lower cut that won't show under your tops, awesome. For me though I thought it showed just a bit more cleavage than I want, so I wear a higher cut top over it.

I'm petite yet busty, so I am constantly looking for the right bra that will hold the girls during my workouts. The Ta Ta Tamer is almost perfect...
The one thing that would make it perfect for me would be underwire. Lulu needs to add more bras with underwire!
That said, this bra is the only bra that I have ever been able to wear that doesn't have underwire. I love the versatility with the straps... you can cross them or uncross them, which makes it a great bra to wear with almost any of my tanks.
The coverage is great. I love the removable padding, but sometimes it drives me nuts when the pads move out of place during washing and I have to put them back. I wash the bras in a delicates bag on the permanent press cycle and air dry them. These bras LAST if taken care of properly!
I own this bra in 7 colors because obviously I need one for each day of the week! ;)
