why we made this

We designed this bra for the small-busted Hot yoga enthusiasts among us. The moisture-wicking fabrics can handle serious sweat, and the low-cut front gives sticky skin room to dry off quickly. The open back has straps with loops that move with us as we twist so we can focus on our form without fiddling.

5 star rating of bras from spring 14 I bought the black/tonka wee stripe, pipe dream blue, and pretty purple free to be in April of this year. I LOVED these bras, they fit so perfectly and are so comforatable it is insane. I have ordered 4 bras since and they have all gone back. You changed the fit Lulu and you didn't tell anyone when you did. I am so sad, now a 6 is too small and an 8 is too big. The pads that come in them now are also not the same quality. The pads used to be darker nude and thicker, the new pads don't do anything for the gals. I found the perfect bra and you ruined it :( August 19, 2014
wear and tear I loved my lululemon sports bra, however, was very disappointed that the seams started unraveling after only a couple of months. I also noticed that the armpit gets worn and gross after only a few uses. August 15, 2014
Cute, quality bra I definitely enjoy this sports bra. It's cute in fun patterns and colors and it works under almost any athletic tank top without being too visible. I love it for running, yoga, spinning... anything! My friends had been raving about this bra so I had to try it out. The first free to be bra I bought was a size 4 and it was really tight. I'm 5'2, 115 pounds and a size 32A but this was uncomfortable. Sadly it was final sale, because it cut into my chest and shoulders so that it was painful and that it would leave marks on my skin. My second one I bought in a size 6 and it was perfect. Super comfortable and pretty much perfect. August 13, 2014
Best I've Ever Tried I have quite a variety of sports bras varying from the cheap "off brands" to higher end sports brands. This one by far is the best. I am a 34 A and have used this bra (I have two) for just about every activity. Ultra marathons, Tabata and muscle fitness classes, and trips to the grocery store. Heck, I even wear them to work. I will be purchasing more in the near future. August 13, 2014
favorite bra I have several lulu bras, I love them all. But after nursing my kids I now have pretty small boobies and I have a tiny build and I find this bra is just the best. Mine has held up very well, it's pretty, it's flattering, I love everything about it. I hope to buy many more. August 12, 2014
Super Cute but Cuts into Sides! I love the idea and design (I got mine with the beautiful roses), and it's great for a smaller person like me with a larger breast size (32D). However the outside elastics of the bra that line my shoulders and underarms always fold under. I've tried readjusting and straightening it out to the fabric. This causes it to cut into my shoulders and underarms quite uncomfortably. I'm really disappointed considering I'm such a fan of Lululemon! August 8, 2014
short lived bra! this bra has an extremely flattering fit for the small-busted! it's really comfortable to wear daily as well. however, after about 3 months, i noticed the seams at the back of the bra falling out!! can't say i'm too impressed with how long it has lasted me :( i would consider buying a different bra from lululemon, but not this one since the seams are half gone. Nice, low-profile bra I'm small chested: 34A (if I am honest with myself!) and 34B on my "bigger days" and wear a size 6 in this bra (5'5", 140lbs). I don't need a lot of support, high impact or not. But I do wear the same bra from 5AM through 8:30PM most days so I need to be able to coach, demo, workout, and work at a desk wearing the same bra. I really like the Free to Be so far. The cups, which I thought were a little stiff at first, give me a nice profile under regular tees and prevent headlights. The cups also don't create circles underneath tight tops, so it doesn't reveal a padded bra, if that makes sense (this is a problem I have with my $16 sports bras from a mass-market retailer). The straps are not adjustable which is great because there aren't any metal grommets that dig in over the course of day. The shoulder straps also don't dig into my (medium-sized) traps, ether! The different colorways and the criss-cross back are simply pretty and make me happy about wearing a sports bra all day long. Lastly, the low profile of the bra (the front and the band around the chest) is comfortable for me though I can see how someone who is built a little differently might find their girls inch their way out of the top. As a coach, I see that scenario with lots of ladies wearing various bras and various tanks. (It really isn't as distracting to others as it is to the person herself, btw!) I waited a long time to buy Lulu bras, usually saving my budget for the larger pieces. But my $16 bras just weren't cutting it anymore. I would definitely recommend this for smaller chested ladies. Best bra ever (if you're small chested) This is by far the best bra for smaller busted ladies. I'm a 34A (I wear a size 4) and this bra provides good coverage (ok it's low - that's the appeal - but doesn't leave you exposed in downward dog). I've done pretty much everything in these bras (I own about 8-10): marathon, very sweaty hot yoga session, speedwork, crossfit, you name it... Each time Lulu comes out with a new print I am tempted to by another one, they are so cute (on their own or under a tank). Thank you Lulu for making me fell great while working out ! August 6, 2014
So in love I absolutely love this sports bra. It offers good coverage, and good support (for me) for both running and flows. I've heard that the support might be second guessed, but with a small bust (34B), it offers excellent coverage and support. I have two already, and plan on buying many more. August 5, 2014
