Getting a bra with the right support is important. If you don't love the fit, send it back - returns are on us.
why we made this
We designed this bra for the small-busted Hot yoga enthusiasts among us. The moisture-wicking fabrics can handle serious sweat, and the low-cut front gives sticky skin room to dry off quickly. The open back has straps with loops that move with us as we twist so we can focus on our form without fiddling.

Definitely my favorite go-to bra!
I use this bra multiple times a week for my personal practice, teaching yoga classes, and running errands. It is a great bra for someone like myself that is small chested. I feel secure and covered. I get a lot of compliments on the straps, they are very stylish! Most friends don't assume it is a sports bra upon first glance.
I have arthritis and my neck is quite sensitive, and some bras have such strong straps that it puts pressure on my neck and leads to a tension headache...NO such problems here! I sized up to a 6, and it is just perfect. I love this bra for all sorts of daily activities, and highly recommend it.

Becareful with sizing! Unfortunate purchase...
This was my first Free to be bra purchase and I am disappointed. I love the Energy Bra and the Flow Y bra, so naturally, I wanted to give this one a try. I purchased this item online in the same size 6 that I purchase everything in. I quickly browsed through the reviews checked the sizing chart and everything looked good. When it arrived, it looked great on and it was very comfortable and decided I wanted to keep it so I removed the tag. I wore it to a low impact, slow paced yoga class and my chest was falling out when I bent over and was in different positions. Pretty embarrassing! I believe the sizing is different for this item and I need a size 8. Unfortunately, I purchased this expensive piece and will not be wearing it again. Considering the price tag on this bra, I am frustrated that their return policy is not reasonable (like Athleta). I have not had any problems with any of the many other items I've purchased (in fact, I love everything I've gotten). I feel sad about this experience and It discourages me to buy online and in stores. Sometimes you cannot judge how the item will perform until you're actually sweating in it! Overall, it is comfortable and attractive but beware of the sizing. The main point of purchasing a sports bra is for it to be functional and for you to use it, not for it to sit in the drawer.

My first LuLu Bra
What an awesome bra to try out as my first Lululemon bra. I just started up yoga again and decided to try this bra out and loved it. Gives just enough support, and doesnt make me stick out in the wrong places. ts comfortable and very cute. Good job Lulu!

Doesn't Last :/
When I first got the Free to Be I was super excited because none of the Nike or Adidas bras ever fit me well. I ended up buying a ton of them, mostly in a beautiful blue color, striped, pink and blue floral, and just ordered the inky floral black ones. I do mostly rock climbing and some yoga in them. They are so comfortable that I barely realize I'm wearing it.
I noticed recently one of the Free to Be bras that I got (and my favorite! :/) had started getting small holes near the seams of the straps despite abiding by the careful laundering methods Lululemon recommends (picture attached)! It's pretty disappointing considering they're literally the only sports bras that fit me well (and that it's my favorite color).

i wanted a bra for daily wear, so something less constricting and cute. thought this would be it. grabbed my normal size 6, did not need to size up as in other light support bras. after a couple days of wear, i notice that it is slipping down below the nipple with light activity. i understood it was minimal support, but don't want to risk a nip-slip. sizing down would have been too small. you may have a different experience, but i unfortunately will not get much use out of it.

The EVERYTHING bra
This bra is the best! Comfortable, flattering, and so versatile - I wear it for yoga practice, SUP, and just as an everyday bra. The back is beautiful and the lower cut in the front makes it perfect for everyday wear under tops. I'm a 34 A, 135 lbs, and 5' 9" - the size 6 is comfy and still provides me with the support I need for all my daily activities.

Best Sports Bra Made!
If you don't own a free to be sports bra, you are missing out on life! I own two and I wear them every time I work out. They are super comfortable and not to mention super cute! I wear a 34A/32B bra size and the size 6 fits perfectly.

Comfy but no coverage!
For a bra that was created for small chested woman and little coverage - its a flop!
I am a small chested woman (bra size is A36) and I got this in a size 6 (the size 4 straps dug into too much). At first I loved it! I don't need that much coverage. However, after using it for a month in all my vinyasa classes I realized I was spending more time in Tadasana covering myself back up then finding my center. The front of the bra is so low, every deep forward fold i literally had to hold it up (one time my nipple popped out!). I tried it with cups and without cups - to no avail.
I talked to my sister about it as she is a professional dancer and buys a lot of lulu. She said the same thing happened to her. No more Free To Be bras for me! They are definitely TOO FREE.
I was pretty disappointed at this flaw. I bought 3 of them and now I can't return them and I can't wear them.

Awesome product but misleading size chart
I absolutely love lululemon products, I probably have 2000$ worth of it in my closet at least, I am a frequent shopper and usually don't complain. I am a size 4 in all products, but when I was ordering my Free to be Bra I checked the size chart just to check because I hate ordering things to small, it proved that I should order size 4 like I always do. When my order came in, all my other size 4 products fit perfect but the free to be bra was too small. I needed a size 6 in that bra. Anyone ordering this bra should go up a size as it is very short. It was fine around the ribs, but it is probably only 5 inches from neckline to waistband so it didn't cover much. I absolutely love the bra, and I would get another one in a heart beat, but I am very disappointed that I was not informed to go up a size than regular.

5 star rating of bras from spring 14
I bought the black/tonka wee stripe, pipe dream blue, and pretty purple free to be in April of this year. I LOVED these bras, they fit so perfectly and are so comforatable it is insane. I have ordered 4 bras since and they have all gone back. You changed the fit Lulu and you didn't tell anyone when you did. I am so sad, now a 6 is too small and an 8 is too big. The pads that come in them now are also not the same quality. The pads used to be darker nude and thicker, the new pads don't do anything for the gals. I found the perfect bra and you ruined it :(
