why we made this
We designed this bra for the small-busted Hot yoga enthusiasts among us. The moisture-wicking fabrics can handle serious sweat, and the low-cut front gives sticky skin room to dry off quickly. The open back has straps with loops that move with us as we twist so we can focus on our form without fiddling.

Best Sports Bra Made!
If you don't own a free to be sports bra, you are missing out on life! I own two and I wear them every time I work out. They are super comfortable and not to mention super cute! I wear a 34A/32B bra size and the size 6 fits perfectly.

Comfy but no coverage!
For a bra that was created for small chested woman and little coverage - its a flop!
I am a small chested woman (bra size is A36) and I got this in a size 6 (the size 4 straps dug into too much). At first I loved it! I don't need that much coverage. However, after using it for a month in all my vinyasa classes I realized I was spending more time in Tadasana covering myself back up then finding my center. The front of the bra is so low, every deep forward fold i literally had to hold it up (one time my nipple popped out!). I tried it with cups and without cups - to no avail.
I talked to my sister about it as she is a professional dancer and buys a lot of lulu. She said the same thing happened to her. No more Free To Be bras for me! They are definitely TOO FREE.
I was pretty disappointed at this flaw. I bought 3 of them and now I can't return them and I can't wear them.

Awesome product but misleading size chart
I absolutely love lululemon products, I probably have 2000$ worth of it in my closet at least, I am a frequent shopper and usually don't complain. I am a size 4 in all products, but when I was ordering my Free to be Bra I checked the size chart just to check because I hate ordering things to small, it proved that I should order size 4 like I always do. When my order came in, all my other size 4 products fit perfect but the free to be bra was too small. I needed a size 6 in that bra. Anyone ordering this bra should go up a size as it is very short. It was fine around the ribs, but it is probably only 5 inches from neckline to waistband so it didn't cover much. I absolutely love the bra, and I would get another one in a heart beat, but I am very disappointed that I was not informed to go up a size than regular.

5 star rating of bras from spring 14
I bought the black/tonka wee stripe, pipe dream blue, and pretty purple free to be in April of this year. I LOVED these bras, they fit so perfectly and are so comforatable it is insane. I have ordered 4 bras since and they have all gone back. You changed the fit Lulu and you didn't tell anyone when you did. I am so sad, now a 6 is too small and an 8 is too big. The pads that come in them now are also not the same quality. The pads used to be darker nude and thicker, the new pads don't do anything for the gals. I found the perfect bra and you ruined it :(

I have three of these bras now because it took me that many tries to figure out what size would work. Lulu's return policy is horrible and you can't exchange something after wearing it. When I went in to the store a girl told me that it was a 'trial and error' process. Well this trial and error experience was expensive and disappointing. In regular bras I'm a size 32C. I started with a size 4 and the band was much too tight on my rib cage. I asked about it in the store and they said they didn't really know what to tell be since I already wore it. Please note that when trying it on initially it didn't feel too tight. It was while running/doing yoga when I wanted my rib cage to expand is when I had the problem. I purchased another size 4 to see if it was a sizing error and had the same problem. I finally tried a size 6 which is bearable on the rib cage but the straps are a bit loose over my shoulder since it not really the appropriate size for me. It's confusing because I have very average proportions and small bust. I do find I have the same problem with their tanks that have built-in bras. I hate all of the ones I own. I stick to the no support tanks from lulu and buy bras from Splits59 and Onzie, more comfortable!

wear and tear
I loved my lululemon sports bra, however, was very disappointed that the seams started unraveling after only a couple of months. I also noticed that the armpit gets worn and gross after only a few uses.

Cute, quality bra
I definitely enjoy this sports bra. It's cute in fun patterns and colors and it works under almost any athletic tank top without being too visible. I love it for running, yoga, spinning... anything!
My friends had been raving about this bra so I had to try it out. The first free to be bra I bought was a size 4 and it was really tight. I'm 5'2, 115 pounds and a size 32A but this was uncomfortable. Sadly it was final sale, because it cut into my chest and shoulders so that it was painful and that it would leave marks on my skin.
My second one I bought in a size 6 and it was perfect. Super comfortable and pretty much perfect.

Best I've Ever Tried
I have quite a variety of sports bras varying from the cheap "off brands" to higher end sports brands. This one by far is the best. I am a 34 A and have used this bra (I have two) for just about every activity. Ultra marathons, Tabata and muscle fitness classes, and trips to the grocery store. Heck, I even wear them to work.
I will be purchasing more in the near future.

I have several lulu bras, I love them all. But after nursing my kids I now have pretty small boobies and I have a tiny build and I find this bra is just the best. Mine has held up very well, it's pretty, it's flattering, I love everything about it. I hope to buy many more.

Super Cute but Cuts into Sides!
I love the idea and design (I got mine with the beautiful roses), and it's great for a smaller person like me with a larger breast size (32D). However the outside elastics of the bra that line my shoulders and underarms always fold under. I've tried readjusting and straightening it out to the fabric. This causes it to cut into my shoulders and underarms quite uncomfortably. I'm really disappointed considering I'm such a fan of Lululemon!
