Booby Bracer (D-E cup) 3.3 5 147 147
The TaTas have FINALLY been tamed I've tried out quite a few bras from lulu and others and nothing seemed to strap down my DDs. The tata tamer was a joke only my breasts weren't laughing. I'd given up on Lulu coming out with a product made for high impact for bustier women. Until now. I looked around for a location with my size, which is a pain in the butt since you can't do a "find near me" option and each store can't look at each other's inventory. Finally I found one and went and tried it on. While hard to breathe in the store, the woman told me it would warm up with me and it did. I love it. It moves with me but supports my chest during runs. This is it ladies. Strap them down! August 24, 2014
booby bracer i bought this bra after reading all reviews and a girl friend recommended it. the ladies in the store ask what bra size i wear, and i said 36dd. they gave me a 38dd and a 36dd. they said the 38dd would be better because i couldn't get the 36 dd done up. I ran and did a high intense martial arts class and my boobs didn't felt supported at all. once done class i tried it to the top of the latches and all the way in on the back and jumped and moved around and they were still not supported. I put on another sports bra that I had on top of the booby bracer and jumped around and it felt. I guess i am back to wearing 2 bras again. I would not recommend this at all. August 21, 2014
DD-DDD Finally No Bounce Running Bra Finally a lulu bra for us lean but chesty ladies. I have tried enellll, freya, and every other bra geared for DD plus. This gets the job done and is refreshing to only have to wear 1 sports bra. The shape is also nice! Not uniboob too much. Be aware that because of the seamless design this will give a lot especially once you warm up and start running it relaxes to your body's shape. When you first try it on it will be SUPER tight and that should be ok after a wear or 2. I have been wearing these for a year now and pray that they keep making them! It will be on me at sea wheeze for sure. :) August 16, 2014
Gamechanger? Probably not I've been a longtime user of the Tata tamer, which changed my life as the first sports bra I didn't have to wear two of to run or play high-impact sports. When I found out Lulu made a higher impact bra, I was so excited! When I tried it in the store, the girls were so secure there was no bouncing and I couldn't wait to run in it. However: I have run in it twice now (5 mi and 7.5 mi) and both times, as it gets sweaty and starts to heat up, it stretches out considerably and there is plenty of bouncing. Like many of the comments suggested, I went up a band size and down a cup size, so it is possible I should have bought the smallest size that would still close. I'm not sure how it needs to fit in the store to survive a run, but I would still try another size before giving up completely, if I'm allowed to return it after wearing it. At $70, though, not sure it's entirely worth it based on the one I have now. In short: is this a game changer bra? No. Is it perfect? No. Is it still better than the average bra? Yes. Whether it's worth the money is up to your wallet. July 26, 2014
Locked and loaded I'm 5'11, and 155lbs, with a lean athletic build. I am a distance runner. I normally wear a 34DD at Victoria's Secret. That's the size booby bracer I ordered, and when I first tried it on, I was popping out of the top, and couldn't breathe. I was ready to exchange it for a bigger size until I started reading the reviews. IT DOES STRETCH OUT! It took 3 runs. After the first run, I was still worried that I wasn't going to be able to wear it. But after the third run, its stretched out enough that the girls are tucked and in place. The band fits tight enough to keep everything in place, but not so tight that I can't breathe. This bra is a game changer. It keeps me from giving myself a concussion when I run. I love it!! bonded construction miss I was able to find this bra in a size that supported me enough and still allowed me to breathe (there was much trial and error involved). Needless to say, a good bra is hard to come by, so I bought 3. I have had them for about 6 months and 2 of the bras are falling apart. It turns out the bonded construction is not such a great idea after all. The adhesive holding the strap to the bra has disintegrated, rendering the bras useless. I was not impressed considering the price point for these bras. I expected better quality bras from Lululemon, certainly ones that last longer than 6 months. July 15, 2014
not the right size after use I should have read the review before choosing the size of this bra. I could not find my Bra size in Montreal Lululemon shops. After measurements, I was still not sure which size to choose so I ordered 2 Booby Bracer of different sizes (32 E and 34 E). The 34E fitted perfectly initially and the 32E seemed too small. I kept the 34E and returned the 32E. But after only a few trainings, the Booby Bracer stretched. I'm at the last hook of the adjustable straps and at the last hook-and-eye closure at the back of the bras. I cannot make it smaller from there and there is now room in the bras cups. It seems like a very good and supportive bra. I really enjoy it at first, but I guest it should be bought a size too small to get the right fit after use. Also, I suggest that Lululemon add more hooks to adjust the straps to a smaller length. With few ajustements, this could be the perfect bra for big breasted women, but not yet... ( Excuse my English. I'm French speaking! I'm from Montréal) July 14, 2014
Not true to size I'm really bummed about this bra. The construction is excellent, but it did not mold with my body heat, and the cup size is too small. Now that I've worn it, assuming the fit would loosen as stated, I can't return it. July 9, 2014
Best bra Great support and comfortable I am 36D but required 38D for the booby bracer July 6, 2014
Booby Bracer Bomb? I have to say initially I was really impressed with this bra, and I'm still not giving up hope! The compression is amazing if you can figure out your size. My normal 32E would not fit, so I sized up to a 34DD. While the cup was a tad small, I read previous reviews that it could stretch so I did not go up to a 34E. I started out on the loosest back adjustment and 2nd to the top on the strap adjustment. Low and behold....after only a 30 minute run my boobs were bouncing and I could see and feel that some stretching had occurred. Today I'm trying it again, one adjustment tighter in back and all the way to the top on the straps. If it gets any looser on the straps I'm up a creek because there's nowhere left to go. Please Lulu, I hope I didn't spend $74.12 on a bra that has stretched beyond wearability. July 3, 2014
