Gym To Win Duffel *Nylon
the best gym bag
this is an absolute dream bag that I do not personally have but my close friend does and I cannot express how useful and well made it is. BUT please bring it back in black colour. The animal print is too flashy for some of us especially those visiting gym during lunch break from work. I would buy it immediately in black- I'm sure along with many others.

Strap wearing terribly after 5 wears
The strap on this bag is getting worn really badly after a short time of having it. I am extremely disappointed :-( I really want to exchange it for another one but I think it is too late.

My husband bought me this as an early anniversary present. I love it. Nice and roomy, plenty of pockets. I don't use the bottom for a yoga mat, but I do use one of the bags to hold my spin shoes, and they fit perfectly on the bottom straps. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the pinkish hue of the zipper on mine. It really seems odd and doesn't fit in with the color (I got the animal swirl alberta lake).

Not what I was hoping for
Initially, I was so excited to get this item. I purchased it hoping for an all-in-one bag (gym and yoga studio) because of the straps on the underside of the bag for my yoga mat. I am disappointed.
The place on the bottom of the bag does not have adjustable straps. I'm a huge fan of "The Mat." It just barely fits. It takes more work than I had hoped to get the yoga mat in the straps. Once your mat is in place, it pushes up on the inside of the bag decreasing its capacity and it messes with the side pockets. Neither of my water bottles (nalgene and camelback) will stay in the pockets with the yoga mat in place. Furthermore, when I went to remove my mat from the bag, I had to turn the bag on it's side to pull it out. Let's just say, it did not slide out with ease. So out tumbled my phone, my keys, headphones, a granola bar, and baby pacifiers (from the side pockets). Good thing, I had the main part zipped, or I would have quickly become a yard sale in studio lobby.
I love the idea of this bag but it could use some work to make it more versatile for folks who exercise at a variety of venues (sweaty generalists). Adjustable straps on the bottom to accommodate larger mats or maybe a foam roller would insure this is my go to bag for all my athletic adventures and justify $150 price tag.

Absolutely in love.
I bought this bag as an early birthday present to myself and I simply love it. The color (black), the material, and tons of pockets. It took me a while to commit since it's not a cheap bag. It's a beautiful bag and it goes with me everywhere! I use it to go to the gym and to crossfit. I find it large enough to fit 2 workout outfits, 2 pairs of shoes, a toiletry bag, a change of clothes, a small towel, and a swimsuit...
The only minus I would give it is the long strap, which is slippery and can be annoying. But this isn't a big deal for me and the benefits definitely outweigh the deficit.

thoughtful design, great size
This is a well-designed bag with tons of pockets that comes in my favorite black Lulu nylon. I plan to carry this as an everyday bag to substitute for the DTB Duffel I've been carrying as a purse for the past few years - my DTB Duffel (which, by the way, I cannot fathom why Lulu has not revived, it is functional and adorable and I get compliments on it everywhere I go) is still in great shape aside from some cracking on the straps, but is slightly too small for everything I've been carrying lately. Yes, the Gym to Win is kind of big to use as a purse, but between carrying supplies for my toddler and getting back into photography (and therefore needing something that will fit my camera) I need something larger. This bag is stylish, well-made, and functional to suit my needs, and since the bottom is not stiff it molds to my body pretty well without looking boxy, unless it's really got a ton of stuff in it. I like that the handles have a long enough drop so that it can easily be used as a shoulder bag and that it can also be used cross-body (another feature shared with the DTB Duffel). Really, this is kind of like the DTB Duffel's bigger brother.
Lulu's bag prices have been creeping northward and I would have liked to spend less, but this bag is actually pretty well priced compared to other fashionable nylon shoulder bags and totes, and I know that their nylon bags hold up very very well. I didn't feel the same way about the polyester version of this bag, which didn't seem nearly as durable.

worth the splurge
I am a college student on a college budget and I'm also very busy. I was having a hard time figuring out a way to pack my gym necessities along with my school items in one bag - until I purchased the gym to win duffel. It keeps me organized and has so many pockets!
The only problem is that the rose gold emblem fell off the bag the first day I carried it. Stuck it back on with a little fabric glue and it's held on ever since. I also have The Mat from Lululemon and it is difficult to slide in and out of the straps on the bottom. Would be nice if they were velcro!
If you're worried about the price - it's WORTH IT. You will want to carry this bag anywhere and everywhere you go.

Zippers need improvement
The bags have great compartments, keep looking nice after a lot of use, and the straps are comfortable. HOWEVER, I'm now on my second gym bag (first was exchanged because the main zipper broke in two months) and the zipper is, again, broken. This one lasted for close to a year, but that is still unacceptable for a $150 gym bag. I'm embarrassed to tell my friends who have had Nike gym bags for 10 years that I'm using a safety pin to salvage this one.
Wait until Lululemon actually says that they've fixed the zipper problem. Don't waste your money.

I received this bag as a gift after I had lusted after it for some time. I love the color, size & the organization with the many pockets but I am sad to say that after 4, I repeat only 4 uses, the main zipper came unstitched completely from one side of the bag. I have never over-stuffed this bag or used it for anything other than 4 once daily trips to the gym. I also am not hard to please- but this is unreasonable. For this amount of money, I would expect this bag to last 4 years not 4 uses. This is the 1st Lululemon product that I have owned & unfortunatley I am so very disappointed. Such a cute & stylish brand but certainly not worth my hard earned money if this is how the products hold up.

The Perfect Bag - EXCEPT the strap
This is a fantastic bag. Lots of room and a light interior which makes finding items easier. Lightweight and easy to clean. Holds my weights and items perfectly. However, I'm so disappointed in the strap. Perfect length but slippery and routinely falls off my shoulder. This bag definitely needs a non-slip piece on the strap. Please, please provide a replacement insert or new strap!!! Otherwise, it may go back to the store.
