Great pant with minor changes First off let me say I LOVE these pants, so comfortable and light. I would buy another pair if there were a couple of adjustments. The regular length is really long. I live 2hrs from the nearest store so the hemming doesn't work for me. The elastic at the bottom is great, but then the fabric bunches up at the bottom and when i'm hiking, the grips of my shoes snag the extra fabric and have almost tripped me on many occasions. I'm having them hemmed locally for this reason. Second, the string in the middle of the waistband is annoying. Unless you're super skinny, the band above the string folds over itself, and is not only uncomfortable, it looks frumpy. I'm forever lifting it back up from folding over on itself. If the string was nearer the top of the waistband, or the waistband not so wide I think this would fix the problem. I'm also thinking of having my seamstress move the string for me. The pants are expensive, i'd own an pair in every color if these things were addressed. October 15, 2014
Elastic problem. I have these pants, I got them but I wore them just a few times. I really enjoy the fabric it really is versatile. My elastic started folding over and after a few washes and wares it has misshaped to the point I just find them extremely uncomfortable. October 14, 2014
Studio pant unlined I purchased the lined studio pant 2 years ago and love them. I do love these as well but they are too long on me and the pants drag when I wore them. I am 5'3 123 pounds and ordered a size 6 which fits perfectly except for the length. The length would be perfect for someone 5'7" and taller. I lost my receipt so now I am stuck with $110 pant(that I love) but cannot wear outdoors because of the length. October 11, 2014
I love these pants! I love love love these pants. Love. I am surprised and saddened that some reviewers have had problems with them (sad because I want everyone to find them as comfortable as I do). I have had these pants for about 1 1/2 years (maybe the quality was better at that time???) and I have had no problems with the waist band, or anything. They are truly the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever owned. I wear them every day - the first thing I do when I get home from work is put them on. I wash them a lot (not exaggerating about wearing them every day) and they have held up really really well. This sounds cheesy, but I always tell people it feels like they're made out of clouds. I truly love these pants. They're also really cute, and I find them to be really flattering. I'm 5'10" and they are the perfect length for me, so I didn't have to worry about having them hemmed. I wish they weren't quite as expensive so I could afford to own a pair in every color. October 10, 2014
Great ... then not so great I was sooo incredibly excited for these pants to come in the mail. The second they came, I had to put them on. I chose my regular size in them, and they fit. However, they fit for the first half of the day at most. Then they stretch out and are baggy... totally not what I wanted from them. The seam inside the waist is already coming apart as well. I have worn them a few times to see if they would always bag out, and they do... total bummer... can't return now (mega bummer) October 10, 2014
Waist Band Bunches I read all the reviews and chose to take the chance with these pants. I must say these are probably the most comfortable pants and wear them quite often! However the waistband bunches causing a somewhat uncomfortable fit. I have tried to tighten the band so it wont slide down but doesn't sit very well. It may because I am 5'11. I do think these pants are great just the waist was a kind of disappointment October 7, 2014
Quality bought these in store, got them home looked them over with complete excitement to put them on to find waist band stiching not completed all the way around. Contacted the Lulu center and recieved amazing service to resolve this problem, which was nice. However like the other reivews the leg lenght on mine are 33 as well not 31 1/2, not just on one pair but all 5 that I have bought. also would like to see when you order online b/c nearest store is so far that you can let them know your inseam to have them hemmed before they ship. I will not drive the 6 hr round trip to use hemming it just doesn't pay. Drive to drop off, and then another 6 to pick up. would also like to see a button to opt out of receiving bag with every order, or to possibly receive a bigger bag. As handy as they are if your a consistent customer online it doesn't take long to have more than you need. October 6, 2014
focus on your products fit and features My daughter gave me the studio pants as a gift. She loves hers and was sure I would love mine. I did love them at first. I brought them to a local store and had them shortened. Everyone was very pleasant. This was a good experience. I wore them the first time on the airplane traveling to Hawaii. By the end of this long flight, my pants were very stretched out. Even tightening the draw string was not enough to keep them from slipping on my hips. I felt very cute at the beginning of my trip and very uncomfortable by the end. I don't feel good in these pants anymore. This makes me sad. October 6, 2014
Terrible Hemming I love the look and style of these pants. Like other reviews I've read, the stitching on the waistband also came unraveled after washing. This one star is actually because the store did a terrible job hemming these. I was informed that they would have to take out the drawstring (which was fine), but they were hemmed way shorter than they had been pinned in the store, the sides of the pants are now uneven, and the material looks very weird (picking up in the front) as I walk. I am so disappointed that I trusted the store to make alterations to an expensive order and had them ruined! October 5, 2014
Was so excited, then so disappointed. I purchased these pants to wear on my runs, and they have been worn twice and washed once (laid flat to dry). I'll start with the fit. I bought a size 4 (which is my usual size), and found them too big. Despite using the waist drawstring, they constantly ride up. After washing them, I've noticed that there are quite a few places where the stitching has come loose and the thread is hanging. Also, the plastic cap on the one drawstring has completely fallen off. Despite all that, they are fairly comfortable, and will be great for layering when the colder weather hits. Overall, I feel that they were not worth the $108 price tag. September 25, 2014
