Studio Pant II *No Liner
Not for short people
I will have to agree about the color comment, i love my spry blue ones! So glad i got one of the last pairs. More colors are great.
I also have to say that while i love these pants, they are MUCH too long for the short person. Unfortunately i am only 5'1 and these pants are for someone much taller. The drawstring at the bottom is great, and i wont get them hemmed because i wouldnt want to lose it. But having a "short" fit might be nice too. My blue pants have dirt marks on the bottom that i cant get out simply because of how long they are. When i fold over the waitband for some help, and better fit up top, it does roll as well and i dont like that.
They make a tall, why not a short?

I don't understand why they don't add all the new colors and make more in this leg length! the others are too short or way to long! There are lots of people which this length fits perfectly so PPPLLLEEEAAASSEE make MORE in this LENGTH!!!

Very comfortable, lightweight pants. I'd like to try the lined version for the colder months.

That darned rolled waistband!! :(
As has been mentioned by many other reviewers, the rolled waistband ruins a wonderful pair of pants! I purchased several pairs of the studio pant and crops a couple years ago and they're awesome - the waistband is thick and feels of great quality...and they haven't rolled after many many washes. However, the pair that I bought earlier this year rolled after just a few washes in cold water and being hung to dry.
I've stopped buying this style of pant as I thought that was a temporary quality issue they were going to fix. Was hoping to exchange my pair for a new pair when they came in but it sounds like it's still a problem, and maybe will never get fixed... Would love to hear from a lulu rep to see if they are aware of the issue and what they are doing to resolve it.
And these pants are not the only ones with the waistband issue...I purchased a couple pairs of street to studio crops this summer and the same thing happens with the waistband rolling in!! Very frustrating.

so far I like them.
Ordered despite the reviews about the length and the waist band. So far I like them, nice and easy pant. I'm 5'6" but all torso and short legs. I will admit that the 34" leg is long on me (beyond my foot with my leg straight) but I feared the 31" might be a bit too short as I can't stand ankle length stuff. I will be wearing these pants to trek around SE Asia from December to February and was looking for something that was versatile and not too fitted. I love the fact that with the ankle elastic I can make these shorter or longer and that they're "cool" enough to deal with places with high humidity! Hopefully they'll be quick drying, too!
I'm down to 150 lbs and a 6 fits good for now. Will be better once I lose a few more lbs. So far not waist band issues, but I will update my review if I do have those issues.

great pants need their cord!
I really like these pants BUT they are VERY long. So I had them hemmed at the store. They said that it would be a regular hem but they didn't say that I wouldn't get the cord and toggle back.
These pants really need that drawstring!
Does anyone know how I would get that from LuluLemon at this point?
Because of the sweep of the leg and the softness of the fabric, which I love, they are just too sloppy looking without that cord. My sister made the same mistake also. Help!

I LOVED these pants but only for a short time last winter. Just like many other reviews the waistband rolled on my pants and I sadly returned them to get my money back. I can't believe they are still selling them and I see recent reviews about the rolling waist band. Despite all the returned garments, they are still selling them. I haven't risked buying a second pair to try again. I was very disappointed because I loved the fabric and the elastic bottom hem. PLEASE fix the waistband and I might consider buying them again.

Love, love, love these pants. I am a massage therapist so I work in these pants all the time. They are amazingly comfortable and super flattering. I wear these pants so often that they have paid for themselves many times over. My only complaint is that there are not enough color options. . I have many pairs of these pants, and would love to see an olive or army green or many even a camouflage or dark brown. Keep up the great work Lululemon!

Not good if you have a curvy behind & high waist
I am 5'4" tall, 140 lb & very curvy (38, 28, 42) & am high waisted.
After reading all the great reviews & seeing the video, I thought I'd found the perfect pair of active wear bottoms.
I was far from right! These cause the most horrific "camel toe" at my crotch. They also barely cover my bum. I would NEVER wear these to the park where I meet my exercise group.
The 6 fits right on my waist & legs (but does the crazy 'camel toe' or 'smiley face' between my legs). The 8 barely looks decent on my bum & crotch (& is VERY loose at the waist & legs).
I am SO disappointed!
I used to have a pair of mesh lined warm up pants from a company whose name starts with an A. The mesh minimized the drama at the crotch & smoothed over bumps. They were also a mid-rise & cover by butt. I'm just getting another pair of those.

Rolling Waistband is a deal-breaker
I am, very sadly, about to return my second pair. I got a pair and LOVED them. So comfortable and flattering. Didn't mind the length, I could scrunch them up and make them work. But slowly, slowly, the waistband started to roll... Drove an hour to my nearest Lulu where they were cheerfully exchanged by an educator. Within a week, the waistband on my new pair was rolling again. I haven't even washed this new pair yet. I am driving an hour back again today, to ask for my money back. I will be happy to rebuy, when this elastic problem is fixed.
