Studio Pant II *Liner (Tall)
Us tall chicks need more colors
I love these pants. They are my go to winter pants for sure. As others have said, you should size down. I am 5'9" 130lbs and normally wear a 6 in Lulu bottoms. In these I wear a 4. However, Lulu please give us tall girls equal color opportunity! We need these in deep zin please!!

Never Take Them Off
I would wear these pants everyday if I could.
They are great to throw on to run some errands, or if you're heading to the gym. I love that I can fit a pair of shorts under them if I have to. They are light enough that you don't get too warm during a workout. The waist band sits a bit high, depending on what your preference is. I love that the ties allow for you to adjust the hem depending on what shoes you are wearing, or what activity you are doing.

Comfortable, flattering pants
I eyed these pants for several weeks before I finally buckled down and bought them. They did not disappoint! Very flatting fit, great quality, and super comfortable. I flew to San Francisco earlier this month for a marathon, and I stayed in these pants the entire weekend! (except for during the race)
I have never had the privilege of owning a pair of sporty, casual pants like these that were long enough. I am 5'10 and wear a 6 in Lulu attire. They are true to size and PLENTY long. It seemed almost too good to be true! I cinched the drawcord at the hem just a bit -- at the ankles -- so they wouldn't drag on the ground. Love, love, love.
Paying full price hurt my soul, but it was worth the splurge.

New Talls & Regulars not like the Old Lined Pants
I have owned several pairs of the Lined Studio Pant. They have been a staple for my ever day wear when the weather is chilly. I decided to buy a new pair to make sure I have enough pairs in case Lulu decides to stop making them. This is what I found. I wore my last year purple pants to the store so that I could try on for comparison. This years models come in Tall and Regular - no longer one length. Ok, no problem. I try on both and I'm more a Tall than a Regular. Besides length, these are the changes I have noticed in my new Tall pair.
-The entire calf width seems to be much wider than the old pants making them even more baggy and blousy.
-The liner fabric is different and not as soft. In fact if my legs aren't perfectly smooth I can feel the fabric on my leg and it's slightly itchy.
-The rise length has been shortened just a tad. Not a huge difference, but I can tell.
Overall, I like my old pairs better. These are still nice pants and if you don't know the difference then I'm sure you'll be delighted.
I know fabric changes aren't always the fault of the manufacturer, but it just is unfortunate that with a staple pants like these they didn't find a soft fabric replacement for the liner. I'm not sure yet if they are as warm as I haven't worn them outside. I may return them.

Love, love, love
I think these pants are so adorable and comfortable. I have them in black swan, navy, and black (plus unlined in the capri version). I think they are too warm to work out in at the gym, but I wear them to walk my dog (when the temperature dips) and on the weekends. They are much cuter than sweatpants and much more functional than yoga pants. Ask a salesperson for the trick to make the drawstring tighter at the bottom hem.

Travel in these
I was traveling to Asia and knew that I would be stuck in a plane for about 20hrs. I really wanted a pant that was Uber comfy and travel well. I didn't want to look too wrinkle up after sitting in a plane for that long.
These pants were Awesome!! As it turns out, I was on that flight for over 20hrs and these pants were Perfection! It is super comfy, wears well, roomy enough but not too baggy and still stylish.
I will be putting these pants to good use here in Asia, as it is hot and sweaty here.
I am 5'11 and bought a size 8. Looks too long at first but, the drawstring works perfectly.

I own one other pair of lined studio pants in Dune, LOVE them, and decided to order the Soot Light. They arrived with the liner of one leg sew in completely twisted to the point they were difficult to even get on. Once on, the leg is twisted and just looks/feels funky! I do love these pants, but I am irritated to have to go through the exchange process now. This is not my first Lulu online order mess up and will seriously consider only shopping in store from now on so I know exactly what I'm getting... Seriously Lulu, where is the quality control!?!

cozy and comfy
I have been wearing lulu gear for years but have never submitted a review. These pants warranted one. I bought both black and soot light. They are the most comfortable pants I own and my butt looks awesome in them. The lining is so cozy. I find these tts. I love most lulul gear but I think these are my new fav. I will be living in these this winter. Worth every cent.

Still love 'em
I have numerous pairs of lined Studio Pants, white, dune, black swan and a pair in wren that I lined myself. Was a bit annoyed when I saw the length had changed as they were always perfect for me. However, I bought the soot light because I'd been waiting for some in grey. They fit fine, the inside leg is slightly longer than the older ones but if you lie them down flat it is about 33.5" (old ones about 32.5"). The inseam is gathered and has some stretch so grows when you wear them. I will have to see if it stretches out more through the day but on initial wearing you can't notice a difference from the old ones. This is on a size 4 I don't know if there is a difference between the sizes. For reference, my actual inseam is 34".
So I am very pleased with my purchase and still love these pants. Only other slight gripe is that the lining is not so soft as it used to be,
oh and please supply your tall pants in all the same colours as the regular ones and some in plum would be lovely.

I purchased the "Studio Pant ll *liner TALL" in the black size 6...I love the way they fit. Although when in the store I had to try on a few pairs in the same size due to the fact that they all seemed to fit differently. One pair was too low in the waist & fit more snug in the bum. The next pair had 1 leg longer than the other by 1 inch. Needless to say the third pair of size 6 that I tried on was perfect.
I have read many reviews on the Lulu products not being true to size, and after todays experience when trying on these pants I can understand the concern. Lulu where is the quality control?
