Rated 2 out of 5 by myforeverlulu too much pleats :(
i love these pants! I have at least 10 pairs on both unlined and lined. I'm was excited to get my 3rd grey color but disappointed that the dark slate made my legs looks wide. The cut is not flattering with exaggerated pleats at the back just like the color white last year. i hope that you can tone down the pleats please!

Rated 3 out of 5 by FitModelNYC Inconsistent fit, but I love them anyway
I'll start by saying I LOVE these pants. Or at least the idea of them. I have 3 pair (sz4) and they all fit differently. I have the dark slate, the shortest (30.25") and snuggest at the hip - these make my butt look amazing. They're fitted through the low hip & true thigh (one inch below crotch), then are straight and rouched throughout. The naval blue (30.75"), not as tight, but still fitted, give great butt, but not as shaped & not as rouched as the dark slate. Lastly, my beloved black. These are the least fitted, but still fitted through the waist, high and low hip. They are the longest - 31.125". I actually exchanged them bc my first pair were shorter than the gray. They have the least rouching of the 3. I would exchange the navy's if I could find them, but availability on these suckers are super limited & I'm not willing to part with the color way. The grays are also currently unavailable in the stores and exchanging them through the site is too time consuming and far too much of a pain. For your reference, I have a 32" inseam, 27.5 waist, 37.5 low hip, 21.5 thigh. Lulu, I love you to pieces, but get it together. Some color ways will always be tighter or loser, and that's the nature of the beast, but rouching and inseams should be consistent across the board. Not one pair hit your stated 31.5" inseam --- in addition, for a basic straight leg pant, your inseam should be a solid 32-32.5".
34.5 inseam for taller girls is so generous of you to offer. Since you have your draw cord, perhaps consider a petite for the shorties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CNGS best "nice" lounge pant
I waited a while to buy these because they are sort of expensive for pants to chill and run to the store in, but I am glad I gave them a try.
I first bought the unlined earlier in the season and loved them. So, as soon as temps started to drop I ordered the lined ones. I LOVE THEM. I am 5'3 120 pounds, the size 4 regular fits great for my smaller yet athletic build.

Bought these pants in grey with high expectations, just like my other 4 pairs.
Have worn them 4 times and the stitching in the waistband has let go and is unraveling - to the point one row is almost totally gone.
Dont want to wear them anymore for fear the rest of stitching will come out. Disappointed. Loved these pants

LOVE them...have them in black and basically wear them daily. They fit perfect with just the right tucking in the bottom to not show what doesn't need to be shown :) I will buy them in every color, both lined and unlined.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Melissastrong Quality is disappointing
I have a few pair of the Studio Lined Pant and I love them--the style and fit but for the price I am not psyched on the quality. The first pair I got the drawstring was sewn so you could not pull the string. I was able to exchange them for a new pair but I live more than an hour away from the store and it is very inconvenient to make the trip. My next pair I ordered online and brand new they have a hole in the lining of the pocket. These things might be considered minor overall, however, when you are paying $118 for pants you would like them to be in working order with no holes regardless of where.

Rated 4 out of 5 by yogaeverydayineveryway Comfy, Flattering, Perfect Length!
These are my go-to pants for the colder seasons. I love that I can have a lined option without sacrificing in fit and comfort. These are warm enough to wear out in the dead of winter, yet breathable so I am not sweating indoors.
The waist does roll down, unlike Studio Pants from the past. While slightly annoying, it isn't enough for me to stop buying this pant in a multitude of colours. A stronger, firmer (maybe tummy tucking?) waistband would make these pants 5 star perfect.
I am normally an 8 in everything Lulu, but size down to a 6 with Studio Pants (both lined and unlined). They have a little give after a few hours of wear, and I like them snug in the bum. When I wear 8's, they start to fall off me after an hour. I think this is definitely a size down item if you are in between sizes.
The length of these are perfect! I am 5 foot 6.5 and don't have to hem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ethel Not for shorties
I first tried these pants on a year ago and was so thrilled with the comfy waistband, fabric and gorgeous plum purple color. I was not so thrilled with the outrageous price tag, especially when I found out I'd lose the drawstring option of this lined version if I got them hemmed. Standing 5'4", I needed them hemmed badly. At this price, no one should have to sacrifice key features because of her height. Sadly, LLL makes these super long and further accommodates the not-so-vertically-challenged with a Tall version, but shorties won't catch a break here. One year later, there's no Short version yet, they still haven't figured out how to let shorties keep our drawstrings post-hemming, there's no longer a gorgeous plum purple option, and the multitude of bummed reviewers remarking on the waistband folding over, stitching coming undone & pilling fabric have led me to find better quality for less money elsewhere. Not worth your hard-earned moola, ladies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Borntotravel Love these pants!
These pants are fantastic! I just spent the last 6 months on a backpacking trip and these were the perfect pair of pants to carry with me. So lightweight and versatile to wear full length or as capri with drawstring bottoms. The material is comfortable and has lasted many washes with no wear and tear. I would definitely recommend these pants!
