Won't be buying Lulu pants anymore
I have a few pair of Studio pants (lined & unlined) and crops from a few years ago. This was when Lulu clothes were still made in Canada and were excellent quality.
I have hesitated to buy another pair of Studio anything due to all the bad experiences people have been having with them. I truly love my old pair and would not exchange them for the new pair.
That being said, I wanted a new pair of pants because I am tired of wearing the same ones. I thought I would give the Studios one last try and buy a pair of the lined ones.
I must say, what a BIG disappointment! The lining on these new pants are so cheap and thin!!!!
The old pair are thick, cozy and warm and the new are just plain garbage.
I gave these pants one star because they are much shorter than my older pairs. I am only 5"1 so that is a good thing for me. If you are taller these are going to probably be short on you. My old ones used to pool at the bottom and drag on the floor while these sit right above the heels.
No more Lulu pants for this girl until quality improves greatly! Hello Athleta!

I own two unlined studio pants that get TONS of wear. This fall I finally invested in a lined pair. The waist rolled on them at first wash. Lululemon exchanged the pair without hesitation. Now the replacement pair is doing the same thing! I'm disappointed and frustrated. I really want these pants to display the quality my earlier pairs have, and they aren't. The price and brand name really ought to come with consistent quality

Falling Apart After One Wash!
I am so very upset about these pants right now. I purchased a pair of these $118 pants on November 4th-soot colour, regular Studios with liner-and I wore them for a few hours around the house and washed them one time-on cold with other Lulu items gentle cycle and dried on low heat-and they are RUINED. There are possibly around a hundred or so (I felt sick to my stomach looking at them for too long) small pulls, snags and threads coming out all over the entire pants.
I have two pairs of the Studio Crops-unlined- that i have had for years (they are the older version that sound to be of higher quality than current versions based on reviews I have read). My Studio Crops have probably been washed a hundred times and they still look brand new. I love them and wear them several times a week in the warm weather. I have no idea what went wrong with the pants. What a complete waste of money. Now I cannot even return them because I have washed them...ONCE!!!
Has anyone else experienced this problem with the studio pants-lined? Is there some kind of flaw in some of them? Please help me understand. I have been a loyal Lulu customer for years and have quite a Lulu collection, I have never experienced an issue with quality before. I have Studio pants that are more than 5 years old and they are still in decent condition.
Please reconsider if you are thinking of buying these pants. I wasted $118+ tax to wear them for a couple of hours! I have to say that prior to washing them they looked great and were super comfortable and cozy, but that doesn't really matter when they fall apart after one wash. For the price of these pants they should be very high quality and durable and these are clearly not.

Love these pants!
I bought a pair of these pants in Inkwell a couple of months back and I absolutely adore them. I purchased them to wear on an international flight and found them to be incredibly comfortable. I haven't even worked out in them yet because I love them so much as regular wear pants! I did only give this product 4 stars however because the band at the waist has started to ripple slightly (which I've read about in other reviews). It does not affect the fit of the pant though so I'm still overall happy with the product. They are a little long, but I'll be taking them in soon to get tailored.

I Could Live In These
I've been waiting for this style of pant to return, as I didn't buy them the first time around. My job entails me going from my office to a chilly fitness centre or a humid aquatic centre, teaching a few classes and otherwise dealing with the public, so it's tough to find pants that are appropriate, attractive and comfortable for all of these things.
Despite people I know saying they preferred the unlined version I bought these anyway. I will be buying several more pairs as they are comfy, warm without being too warm and flattering on my short, curvy body. I'm 5'1" with a fit, hourglass figure, so it's tough to find pants that don't make me look hip-y or stocky instead. (I wear size 4 in lulu stuff, if that helps.) I usually have to get pants taken up, as I have 29-30" inseam, but these are fine when I have shoes on, so that was an added bonus (they touch the ground but don't puddle).
I have the unlined version as well, which seem to be a little snugger in the hips, making them slightly less comfortable and flattering than these, at least on me.
I gave these a 4 rather than a 5 for two reasons: 1. I've had them for less than 2 months, so I want to see how they hold up to time and washing; and 2. I'd like them to sit slightly higher on my hips (although I recognize they would if my hips were narrower).
Final word: I would happily live in these pants and no other.

My 6th pair
I just received my sixth pair of studio pants and the deep zinfandel is beautiful . I have never had an issue with any of my pants ever and the lined are very cozy. The only difference is that these are a lot shorter then all my others and Im 5 ft 8 and 155 lbs and wear a 6. If I was any taller these would be too short.

Try and peel these off me
I have always admired the shape of these pants! They look so loose and comfortable but I love how you don't get lost in them. They still look very feminine. I finally bought a pair and I LOVE these. The Inkwell colour is gorgeous - it's still a neutral colour, but not black. I would like to call it off-black. I love it. Most comfortable and warm pant by far! I love the thick waist band, but it doesn't cut into me. I wear these around the house, to and from the gym, and on weight training days. I find they fit true to size. The only thing I would like to suggest is that lulu makes these for short girls! I am 5'3, and the regulars are soooo long on me. You can get them hemmed and lose the drawstring (which is another reason I liked these pants in the first place) or you always have to roll them up and sometimes they roll back down when you are moving. It kinda sucks that it is either one or the other for us shorties. Other than that, LOVE these pants! Great job, lulu!

Waistband is unravelling and it pokes!
I bought several studio pants, with liner and without liner. The ones without liners seem to hold up pretty well. I also got a white one which is only sold with liner and I usually it use it only on the winter time.
Well, here comes winter and so I started wearing it and at first I did not notice it, but I felt something poking me all around my waist. After a while, I realized it was my pants. There are clear plastic threads poking through the fabric!
This pants was rarely used, always treated gently, being the white princess it is, and yet it is damaged.
This does not happen to my other Studio pants without liner, in other colors. So, am not sure if the quality issue is only with the white ones (I noticed that usually the white one is posted separately and I could not find it anymore online) or if it is with the pants with liners.

Awesome for pregnancy!
OK, so I know this isn't why these pants were made, but they are phenomenally comfy to help me get through pregnancy. I'm no longer sporting my groove pants since it's all about being comfortable at this point. I love how the lining is attached to the entirety of the leg (as opposed to my other favorite Lulu dog walking pants where the liner is like a legging only attached at the top.) These liners are not leggings. They are wide and non-restrictive. Overall, super comfortable and will definitely see me through my pregnancy! :)

I just tried these on in the store and I really like the new liner. It is really soft. Not sure how warm it will keep me.
The deep zinfandel color is really great.
I wear a 6 in almost everything at Lulu, but in these I wear a 4, so might need to size down ladies.
